Great location and clean. Nice bar and reasonably priced. Upstairs the hotel is tired but functional, we already knew that and it was fine for us.

I stayed just the one night on business. I liked the history and general decor of the hotel - it has a nice, venerable atmosphere. My room was clean but showing its age a bit with loose fitments etc. The bed and pillows were quite hard but tastes vary on this. All fine really

Great staff and location. Walking distance to shopping, restaurant, and tourist attractions. I would recommend it to anyone. This hotel must have been something very special in its day. The bed was comfortable and room where clean the only complaint was that there was no where to plug my CPAP machine by the bed, so I just moved it closer to the plug in. Bring a mall cord just incase.

Beautiful old hotel was comfortable for us, despite a small room. It was once elegant, but needs attention. Still, it was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and we’d happily return.

Great public areas and lounges in this grand hotel. Staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and good. Actual room was small and dated but clean and functional. Perfect location in the centre of the city, and great to stay in such a grand old hotel for a reasonable price.

Rooms were quirky with a mixture of old and new. Our room was large with plenty storage space. The hotel itself is old but with some beautiful features.

It is an old building steeped in history. It is like travelling back in time, it is big, it is beautiful, it has marble panelling on the corridor walls. It is so convenient for the city centre and it is amazing value for money. Sadly yet another hotel that has sold its parking to the parking vultures who charge almost the price of a room to park in an awful car park that has not been looked after,
