Stayed here a few times, the location is excellent being right on lord street. The hotel is a little tired, but then again the room price reflects that. If you are looking for cheap but comfortable accommodation and not planning to spend hours in your room and expecting all the mod cons, then this hotel ticks the boxes

By far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. We stay in hotels several times monthly and from poor service by the receptionist to having to change rooms 3 times is beyond the joke. Stains on the pillows and bed sheets, noisy room and the radiator noise all night. Its a run down hotel and lacks fire safety, waiting for a disaster to happen.

Room was not very clean, there was blood on the sheets. The room overlooked the Scarisbrick Avenue clubs so most of the night there was loud noise from outside. The shower pressure was non existent and the bathroom was dirty. Rooms were either very hot or very cold depending on the floor.
