Have stayed in the Park Hotel before. The staff are the best part, Always friendly and happy. nothing is too much trouble for them Hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. Will definitely be staying there again.

It wasn’t too bad. The room was a little outdated. There was no outlets by the bed. The bed was older and not super comfortable. There was no air conditioning and no mini fridge. The bathroom was clean. Other than that it was a good stay.

Avoid if you want to sleep

Really dated bedrooms, the mattress was horrendous, the food menu doesn't match what you are brought and the prices aren't in line with the quality of the food. The downstairs reception area has obviously had a recent refurb don't let this fool you it's smoke and mirrors.

Nice and cheap

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. They are renovating so some rooms are far better than others. In general very nice and inexpensive. The bar/restaurant is very good.

A Swift getaway

Perfect for what we needed, a room for the night to sleep in, the Park was clean and tidy, comfortable bed and the room was a good temperature when we arrived. The bathroom is a little dated but perfectly adequate for what you need it for. The staff were friendly, willing to help and available. The bar was nice looking with reasonable prices and we had a lovely breakfast to finish the stay off.

Great value hotel, excellent food and ample paking

Excellent value for money. Reasonable sized room with several power points and usb. Considering proximity to main road, nice and quiet. Good sized car park. Choice of dining in bar area or restaurant. Restaurant food was excellent with a good selection to choose from. Good breakfast to start the day. Staff friendly and efficient

Greay stay

Room was very large so very pleased. Shower was ok, did the job but only had a body wash. The room had 2 small armchairs, coffee table, dressing table, small dresser unit and a big comfortable bed. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice.

Very noisy inside and out

Was a very noisy hotel, this was a nuisance as the next door neighbours sempt to be having a party in their room with more than just the occupants, this was annoying as I was on a work trip and was getting up early

A pleasant, modest hotel that suited my requirements. The issues I had were minor and could be fixed relatively easily by housekeeping using the rooms themselves. The light above the dressing table did not light the mirror sufficiently, with the ceiling lights finishing quite far from it they didn’t help either. The toilet seat moved each time I used it making a sharp crack, minor but unpleasant especially during the night. My key card wouldn’t work when I got back after midnight, l rang the hotel number but eventually had to return to reception to get it sorted out. I have mobility problems and this made it rather difficult for me. Could a house phone be put somewhere by the lift/stairs to make dealing with issues like this easier for the guests? I couldn’t find a sleep timer program on the TV remote control, could instructions for this; if available, be included in the information page? I said the issue I had were minor so they wouldn’t prevent me from using the Park Hotel in the future, resolving them would just improve the customer experience.

Clean rooms and helpful staff. Liked the location as we were visiting family in Bootle and will definitely stay there again. Room just a little small but didn’t take away from the rest of it.

The bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable but the room was dusty. The hem was down on the curtains, USB port and one bedside lamp not working. There was no Housekeeping Service over the two days I was there. Apparently you have to ask for this but nothing to tell you that and I've never had that before in a hotel. The staff were very nice and as helpful as they could be but there was no Receptionist on Sunday or Monday a.m. and no Maintenance all weekend. Dinner is not served after 6pm on a Sunday but there is no information about meal times in the rooms, at Reception or in the Dining Room. The parking is great.

Good location with lots of restaurants and retail shops including an Aldi next door, clean room and Hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Wifi times out sometimes but picks back up quickly. Breakfast was good and other options available. Very handy having 2 restaurants areas in the hotel and the dinner was very delicious.

Served its purpose

Windowsills and radiator cover were very dusty as was the skirting board behind the bed. Bed pushed to one side so no bedside cabinet on that side and very tight to get into the bed. Would have mentioned to reception on check out but there wasn’t anybody there to tell, just had to leave the card at the desk! £50 deposit on check in I was aware of but be aware you need your physical card to pay this. Food from the bar menu was good quality, although the lasagne portion could have been larger!
