Reasonably close to the centre and suitable for a single overnight stay. Good tea / coffee supplies with a kettle and bottled water. Shower well stocked with washing toiletries.
Great communication throughout, room is a short walk from city centre and 5 minute drive from train station. Plenty of cafe’s pubs and other facilities nearby. Quiet area which was a handy bonus.
It was okay. The area is not awful as close to city centre etc and a stones throw away from a Tesco express. The whole aspect of the hotel is very easy to use and you get exactly what you pay for. There was no remote for the tv so had to download an app to use the tv which is strange and also smelt like the cleaner had used the toilet on their way out from cleaning the room which made the room smell lovely prior to our arrival. The bed is also made of only springs and rags which made for a comfortable nights kip. The 7am radio alarm was a lovely surprise. Wouldn’t take the missus but adequate for a lads weekend away.
This place was perfect for couple of nights that my friend and spent there. It’s small but comfortable, shower is great, location is perfect to all restaurants and downtown is only 10 min walking. Highly recommend this place if you are looking to explore Liverpool and stay there for 2-3 days…
Only book if you want a sleepless night! What was unique about the property was that it was impossible to sleep, due to a loud pump in a nearby room working throughout the night. It would go on for 100 seconds then off for 30 seconds. All through the night. Despite trying to contact the host, they did not respond. How their conscience permits them to rent out rooms knowing sleep will be impossible is beyond me. Very disappointed.
Easy to follow self- entry, just 10 minutes walk from town and train station, super clean and comfortable, everything that was needed. Overall really impressed.
Immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. Comfortable and quiet. However, the service was non-existent and no daily housekeeping as was advertised. It was difficult to get the towels dry after three nights. There were no instructions for anything including fire drill. If anything went wrong it would have been impossible to contact hosts. Far from perfect.
Great hotel and good location but communication with host was difficult. Would not answer phone and only responded to texts. Was unaware before arrival that the hotel would not be manned and that we would get entry codes to the hotel/room by email. Also, booking confirmation said we had to pay a refundable damage deposit but this was not required and was not communicated to us until we asked. Room was spotless.
The property was very nice overall - clean bed and clean shower. It was a bit out of the way with limited transport, and no pubs / restaurants in the area.
I also had issues getting the shower turned on and remembered another review where it mentioned having to flip a button outside the shower. There was no indication in the washroom itself that this was necessary.
The set up may not be to everyone's liking but we found it excellent. On a night out, all you want is a clean room to sleep and this was great. The use of technology instead of high overheads does make this hotel a cost effective choice.
We would stop here again.
Convenient location, but when you get inside the property the room was first class. All fixtures and fittings are to a very high standard. Perfectly clean 👌 .... we have already booked another visit for an event in November.

Absolutely fabulous property. Immaculately clean. Wonderfully quiet and only 10 minutes walk from the city centre. Fantastic value for money.
I didn't like the disrespect I was shown by someone pooing in the toilet and left it smelling up the room and the cheek to leave the toilet with the remaining excrement In the bottom of the toilet bowl didn't even have the decency to leave it clean or wash out the bowl the room stank for days I was there even with the window open it was like it was done deliberately and whoever done that should be sacked as who does that other than that I really enjoyed my stay in the Urban Hub and will stay again in the future.
Did not receive the room booked - king size instead of 2 singles. Raised this with the 'hotel' via text as they did not answer the phone but they did nothing. Total con at £200 a night. Do yourselves a favour and stay somewhere that offers a proper service and gives you the room you've booked in the first place.
Lovely property just wish it had been nearer the town centre. Would go again though

My stay was mostly great and was good value for money, there were just a few things which could be easily improved:
1. The bedding was 2 twin duvets over the 2 twin beds, rather than 1 queen duvet (as pictured in the promotional photograph).
2. There was no chair/stool to be able to sit next to the desk in the room.
3. The towels were all brand new i.e. they still had the tags on them. They felt a little bit grimey, would usually wash before using first time. Not a big deal though.
As I mentioned above, these are all minor things and the stay overall was great good value.
Everything from start to finish was excellent , booking , confirmation, code for access sent via email , a little quiet haven , room was very clean and mordern decor, i will deffo stay here again .
