“I stayed at Radisson Blu Livingstone from October 30th to 31st, paid about $395 for one night. We booked two twin beds through Expedia and confirmed by phone. On arrival, we got one large bed, then two narrow beds pushed together. Mosquitoes were everywhere. Breakfast was awful. A waitress said there were no takeaway containers, but her superior found one quickly. She laughed while I complained. Most disturbing was the unequal welcome. As Black guests, we got little warmth, even before any……

“This is a great hotel. Our river view room was spectacular. The staff were friendly. The overall surroundings are brilliant, well maintained, and we saw elephants having lunch in the neighbouring national park from a few feet away (through an electric fence!). It's well located to get into Livingstone and you really can't beat staying right on the banks of the Zambezi. The pool is nice, if slightly smaller than expected, and not heated. The service was sometimes slow. Food was good, not……

“The General Manager/Director, Salome and the Reception Manager, Oscar were 5-Star hosts. Everything was spot-on & in order as arranged. My driver James was a "10-STAR" service agent... always available and on-call whenever I needed him. The camp settings and surroundings within national park are truly exceptional. Morning sunrises and evening sunsets on the Zambezi River are simply FanTabUlous!!! A absolutely beautiful experience. ”

“Too noise, especially in Saturday and Sunday nights,because of the night club. Some rooms have many mosquitos. Some of the staffs not helpful. My friend hurt his head by using the gangway inside the hotel due to the lack of safety cause by the hotel.”

“A great little lodge (about 10 rooms) with sensational friendly and helpful staff. We had breakfast and dinner, both of which were delicious. The bar is a little limited in range, but still good. The room was very comfortable and had everything we could need. Overall a very comfortable and beautiful lodge - we definitely hope to be back.”

“Awesome spot for a great price! Really good scrambled eggs in the morning. Just got to book a Yango to get there, or rent a car, but I'd recommend downloading Yango (like Zambia's Uber) before you go. And have cash to pay the drivers; the credit card feature on Yango is weird.”

“The island was amazing. We were there for our honeymoon and it was very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and really made us feel at home and special. The rooms were spotless and always prepared for us (ie. bed made, turn down Service, bug nets downat night). I would highly recommend a stay here for anyone going to Victoria falls!”
