We had a lovely relaxing weekend at the cottage.

We had a lovely relaxing weekend at the cottage. On arrival, it was spotlessly clean. The cottage is equipped with all the things you need for your stay, towels, hairdryer, toiletries. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, pots and pans. There is a lovely welcome basket on arrival that included wine and welsh cakes! There was also a very helpful book that included everything you need to know about the local area, things to do and see, pubs and restaurants. The cottage is spacious and is situated in a lovely area. The view from the hot tub is beautiful. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

The owner is very helpful and friendly.

The owner is very helpful and friendly. The location is fabulous providing you don't expect a good pub on your doorstep. There is a shop and petrol station about a mile away and Llandrindod Wells is about 3 miles away and has Tesco and Aldi stores. The Elan Valley is superb and there are plenty of things to do both there and the Village nearby. There are two lodges and another two currently being built, once they are up and running I'd advise booking one of them because everything in them including the Hot Tub will be new. The Hillside View Lodge is lovely, but it is showing some signs of needing a little tlc, mainly paintwork and some handles on furniture, otherwise it would have scored even higher. It was a lovely touch that there was a welcome hamper there for us on arrival containing essentials, goodies and dog treats too! ?
