We had a really enjoyable stay at the hobbit hole. The location was beautiful. Really peaceful area and loved seeing the alpacas. The hot tub was great as well - top tip don't overheat the fire too much - if you think it might not be hot enough get in and check as it probably is! We loved that everything you needed was there and especially enjoyed having an air fryer to use! Loved it and would definitely book again. Claire was really helpful and we loved the Victoria sponge from Claires mother in law! Thanks for a lovely stay for our 15 yr anniversary.

We absolutely loved this property! The house is colourful and quirky with a bee theme throughout. It was spotless, warm and super cosy. Whilst small, it made great use of the available space. We felt there was plenty of room for myself, my teenage daughter and our cairn terrier and it didn't feel cramped at all. My daughter loved the underground twin bedroom, she was really comfortable in there. The bathroom was a good size, with double basins and a very nice walk in shower and the kitchen area was spacious and kitted out with everything you could need for a self-catering break. Claire, the owner was really friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. She also left the most delicious, homemade Victoria sponge for our arrival. We also booked the hot tub for our weekend which we very much enjoyed using on the Saturday night. There were plenty of logs available for its wood fired stove so the water heated to the perfect temperature. The outside space is great, really liked the garden room near the hot tub (with loo which is really useful!) and there's a lovely patio area with lots of seating (although in January we weren't really able to make the most of that!). We also got to meet and feed some alpaca neighbours much to the delight of my daughter who loved them. The location is also great, it's close to the A483 so it's easy to get out to explore the local area. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and would definitely stay again.
