"Our stay was everything we were going for. Morgan checked in with us to make sure it was great. This is a 3rd floor home. That means yes there are stairs. Seeing other reviews and guest book messages people were amazed there were stairs and that was a compliant. Know what your booking ahead of time, yes stairs, but great quiet house on the bayou. Book the charter with big dog and you won’t be disappointed!"

"Had the best time with my family at the camp. The place was unbelievable, it was so pretty and well decorated. The outside was just as nice, my grandson love fishing off the docks and so did I. "We certainly enjoyed our stay. The views and the bird watching off the back deck are certainly entertaining. We were even lucky enough to see an alligator one morning. I wish we hadn't been so busy with football in Baton Rouge, so we could have enjoyed the property even more. A return visit is a must! The town of Vacherie is so precious. We met lots of great people, especially at DJ's Grill (we went there twice). Thank you for letting us stay at your unique home."

"The pictures of the place look cute. When we got there we were horrified! My family and I arrived to the property, and discovered the 3rd "bedroom" was a refinished garage without heat! It was 40 degrees that night. We also found mouse dropping in a different bedroom. We travel with pets so we had no other choice but to stay the night. We didn't arrive until after 9pm. When we woke the next morning there were cockroaches in the kitchen. We called the owner right away. He knew about the roaches...
