Nice and clean home

This year we were for the third year in a row in Trulli di Mari. The home is nice and clean, and has a nice garden and private space outside. The owners are very nice and friendly. We love to stay in their home and enjoy all the nice things in Puglia: the beach at Lido Tavernese, Bar Fod 1951 in Martina Franca and spending the night in Ostuni. And of course the market of Locorotondo at Friday. This wasn't for sure our last stay in Puglia!

Trulli di Maria: a home away!

Last July we were the lucky ones who had al lovely stay in Trulli Mari. Antonio and Maria are very nice and friendly hosts, the house is clean and comfortable, the weather was very nice and the beaches and the small towns in the were environment nice to visit. You also can find nice restaurants in Locorotondo. The most delicious dinner we had was in Savelettri, near to the port: "Saporo di sale'. The weekly market in Locorotondo was nice to visit and buy various fresh fruits. Our first stay in Italy, was even better than we thought that it would be. Dear Maria and Antonio: Thank you very much for staying with you!

What a beautiful experience!

What a wonderful experience! From the incredible hospitality and generosity of Mary and Antonio, to the picture perfect setting. The trullo is magical, the garden wonderful, especially for the children to play in, and the location is whimsically from another time. It is very private, and you feel like time has slowed down (so much do, we slept until late every day!). The trullo is beautifully furnished and staying there was an incredibly unique experience. We loved it. It is an easy drive to beautiful Baroque Martina Franca or to the coast. We loved Monopoli and Lecce, and Bari's historic centre was gorgeous. And food... Wow. You eat very well in the land of trulli. A must for anyone wanting to stay in Puglia.

Our stay in Incanto was a highlight of a month in southern Italy. We appreciated being met promptly by vivacious Mary and amiable Antonio; both are patient with non-speakers of Italian. Throughout our stay they responded without delay if we needed assistance. These are people we'd want for neighbors were we to move to Italy. This country property, set among olive trees and picturesque lanes, is impressive from the moment one drives through the gate. The interior is charming with tasteful furnishings and decor. We liked the convenient on-site parking and access to the accommodation without steep narrow stairs so common elsewhere. Dining and food shopping are available nearby; the QuintoColore supermarket is as good as it gets. The attractive town of Locorotondo is not far and is manageable with much to offer. We would return without hesitation and perhaps bring friends to use both Incanto and adjoining Il Nido. We would double the length of stay.

Totally Charming Trullo & Host

What a perfect "home base" for our visit to Valle d'Iteria in central Puglia! Located amongst low rolling hills bursting with trulli nestled behind miles of low stone walls & farm fields, this charming trullo w/modern bath is just a short 10 min drive fm Locorotondo, walking distance to a local cafe/bakery & even a local shopping center with grocery store about 6 mins up the road. Alberobello Ostuni, Martina Franca, Matera, Monopoli, Bari, Brindisi, etc are all reasonable day trips. Fabulous host Maria was always prompt in responding to all our texts prior to & during our stay, and helped arrange private tours that were outstanding. Her son & d-in-law were also great hosts & insured our stay went smoothly. Awesome shower! Lovely place for family w kids or 2 couples+. NOTE: Read owner's manual! Do NOT drink the water!! Bring it or buy it at grocery store (open Suns!)BTW: Locorotondo turned out to be our fav Valle D'Iteria town & Pogliano D'Mare fav nearby beach town. Hope to return to Trullo Incanto soon. We rented property for a month and it was wonderful. Location perfect for exploring Puglia. Lovely owner Maria and husband who were very kind and courteous. Beautiful Trulli house with beautiful garden. We loved it. Thank you Maria

Magnifique propriété

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans ce joli trullo. Bien situé pour visiter la région, les propriétaires sont accueillants et attentionnés. Très bien équipé, même à l'extérieur, les jeux pour enfants ont été très appréciés !! Nous recommandons vivement cette propriété typique où l'on ne manque pas d'espace ( belle terrasse aussi) et où tout est parfaitement propre.

A tranquil haven

The property was sparkling clean, very well appointed with proper self-catering facilities and amenities. Very comfortable and wonderfully peaceful. Maria was an excellent host, present and available without being at all intrusive, making us very welcome on check-in and checking in with us on WhatsApp the next day to verify that all was okay and we didn't need anything. The trullo is perfectly located to visit pretty much anywhere in Puglia, with the nearest town Locorotondo very pretty with everything you could need. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and much-needed very relaxing holiday.

Lovely and cool!

We had a lovely visit at Maria's beautiful trulli. It was surprisingly cool - no need for air conditioning or fans! Why can't we build that way nowadays? The location was perfect, the seaside close and all of the Valle Itria on your doorstep to see even more of those delightful trullis! We loved our big terrace, ate outside every day, popped over to the local bakery for breakfast rolls and lunch foccacia and played many rounds of table football. Thank you Maria, it was eccellente!

Nettes Haus, leider sehr altmodische Einrichtung

Die Terrasse sehr schön, die Küche altmodisch, keine Spülmaschine( Standard in anderen Ferienhäusern). Keine gemütliche Couch oder Sessel innen. Die Zimmer sehr dunkel, hässlich eingerichtet mit Deckchen und sehr spartanisch. DIe Dusche ist sehr modern und es lief warmes Wasser.

Gemütlicher, geräumiger Trullo im märchenhaften Trulli-Land

Wir (drei Damen) haben wunderbare zwei Wochen in diesem schönen Haus verbracht. Die Zimmer waren sehr gut ausgestattet und auch die Küche hat alles geboten, was man fürs Kochen im Urlaub so benötigt. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und liebevoll gestaltet. Auch das Auto fand vor dem Haus problemlos Platz. Die Vermieterin Maria und ihr Mann sind ganz zauberhafte, liebe Menschen, die dafür gesorgt haben, dass wir uns rundum wohl gefühlt haben. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

un vero incanto

Il trullo incanto è in una posizione ideale immerso nel verde dove si respira un'aria di pace... ma nello stesso tempo gode di una posizione strategica per raggiungere paesi come Locorotondo o Alberobbello. Trullo incanto è un posto INCANTEVOLE , arredato con cura, pulizia impeccabile curanto in ogni minimo dettaglio e Maria la padrona di casa ha dato il meglio di se! persona estremamente disponibile insieme al marito.Il trullo è dotato di un barbecue e un bellissimo parco giochi per i bambini.Che altro dire soggiornare in questa Trullo ha davvero arricchito la nostra vita... Consigliatissimo...soggiornerei altre 100 1000 volte. Grazieeeee

splendido trullo incanto nella campagna pugliese (tra laureto et locorotondo)

Grazie a Maria per il suo bellissimo trullo incanto che e ben arredato e pulito. C'é tutto quello che c'e bisogno per una famiglia anche con bimbi piccoli. Posto tranquillo e fresco. ci torneremo sicuramente.

excellent séjour

l'hébergement est très bien, l'environnement magnifique, très intéressant et très beau à visiter, de belles plages à proximité. Les hôtes sont charmants . On peut y prendre tous ses repas et le soir la terrasse est très agréable, le barbecue formidable ! Propreté et confort OK. Le prix est très attractif pour la qualité du séjour !! Soggiorno favoloso

Bellissimi trulli immersi nella campagna, in una zona molto tranquilla. Un posto perfetto per rigenerarsi! Siamo stati davvero molto bene grazie anche all'accoglienza calorosa di Maria e il suo marito. La casa è pulitissima, molto comoda e funzionale. Cucina e bagno attrezzati, letti molto comodi, e spazi esterni bellissimi! Un giardino molto ben curato, con BBQ disponibile anche, e zona relax all'ombra. Ma quello che ho apprezzato di piu sono proprio i trulli. La spiegazione delle loro storia e ristrutturazione è affascinante. Svegliarsi poi con la vista del soffitto del trullo, è incantevole. Complimenti per questa casa stupenda!

Incantevole

Siamo stati quì per il ponte del primo maggio e abbiamo trascorso tre giorni davvero incantevoli. L'alloggio è molto ospitale e ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa; immerso nella natura con tantissimo verde circostante e un silenzio rilassante che isola la mente dal trambusto quotidiano della città. Una perfetta oasi a pochi chilometri dal mare e vicina alle maggiori località turistiche come locorotondo e alberobello tanto da riuscire a visitarle tutte nonostante il poco tempo a nostra dispsizione. Lo consiglio vivamente, un trullo con i fiocchi!!! Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Charmante et originale résidence de vacances

Nous avons passé quatre nuits très agréables dans le "trullo de Maria" ; nous étions un couple en compagnie de deux amies et nous avons bénéficié à la fois de tout le confort et du charme des lieux. Tout était très propre, les murs blancs semblaient repeints de frais, les abords et le jardin étaient très soignés et notre seul regret est de ne pas avoir pu profiter de la terrasse faute de temps et faute d'assez de chaleur étant donné que nous sommes venus fin mars. Le chauffage au bois contribue à l'ambiance et s'est avéré efficace si l'on s'en occupe en suivant les conseils des propriétaires. Ces derniers sont des personnes très sympathiques, accueillantes, soucieuses de vous apporter tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Un recueil très complet et très intéressant sur la construction des Trulli et sur les lieux à visiter dans la région vous attend sur la table du séjour. La situation de la maison à la campagne lui assure un calme incomparable et permet de rejoindre facilement en voiture les principaux lieux de visite. Bref, une location de vacances que nous recommandons vivement et que nous aurions plaisir à retrouver si nous décidons de revenir dans la région.

Trulli di Mari is INCREDIBLE!

When we made our plans to stay somewhere in the heel of the boot of Italy, locations near Locorotondo kept showing up. We decided we wanted to stay in a trulli house and look through quite a few before finding this one. It has always been my dream to visit a location in Italy and stay some where that feels like a central Villa and be able to make day trips from that location. This is definitely a place! It is within a 2 hour drive to everything we wanted to see in the heel of the boot ... not to mention that it is one of the most comfortable homes I've ever stayed in! The pictures actually don't do this property justice. The home is beautiful and equally beautifully decorated, the property is impeccable (we were there during olive harvesting and actually got to see that happen on the property!), And it is in such a quiet and secluded area. Mary was the most perfect and gracious hostess ever! She was very accommodating, answered all of our requests and was right there every time we needed something! The day that we checked out, we found out that this was actually her childhood home which made it even more special for us. If I'm back in this area, I would definitely stay here! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Varchi il cancello e ti trovi subito a tuo agio, immerso in una natura tranquilla e rigogliosa, soprattutto ben curata. Poi conosci Mary ed Antonio e capisci che le recensioni positive sulla loro persona sono davvero meritate. Spiegazione esaustiva, disponibilità massima e soprattutto i sorrisi solari che sono la cosa più accogliente. Entri e godi subito di un bell'ambiente soggiorno cucina dove non manca nulla e disponi di un bel divano davanti al camino dove la pennichella viene automatica anche quando non hai sonno. Poi le camere con tutta la suggestione dei trulli, ben arredate e confortevoli. Credi di essere isolato, a 50 metri invece hai un forno che fa focacce deliziose, pane e tarallini da favola. Poco più distante hai tutto, soprattutto una macelleria con buona carne da fare sul barbecue. Infine quel parco giochi che tanto i miei figli hanno adorato e la posizione strategica in quanto nel raggio di 15/30 km disponi i di tutti i centri da visitare. Io tornerò e lo consiglierò vivamente. Ancora grazie a Mary ed Antonio, persone squisite come la loro casa.

Un autentico gioello nella campagna pugliese

Siamo una famiglia di quattro persone ed abbiamo soggiornato presso questo trullo restrutturato per 8 notti. Iniziamo con il segnalare la cortesia della padrona di casa. Le risposte sono sempre arrivate molto velocemente e Maria è sempre stata molto sollecita a rispondere ad ogni nostra domanda e curiosità. Il trullo si presenta esattamente come nelle foto: nessuna sorpresa! E' proprio così: ben ristrutturato e pulitissimo. In casa non manca nessun comfort. Vi sono tre comode camere doppie, un bagno ben accessoriato e completo di lavatrice, una cucina completa e perfettamente funzionante. Gli spazi esterni sono meravigliosi. Un bel barbecue, un bellissimo parco giochi e un bel terreno piantumato con ulivi e fichi. Assolutamente consigliato per poter godere della campaglia pugliese più autentica.
