The Chalets A-Frames are iconic, romantic, cozy and comfortable with two queen bed sleeping areas and one full bath. Arranged along the ridge of a hill, each A-Frames has a private deck with hot tub, grill and view into mature woods. Their vaulted open-concept living areas include a kitchenette, dining for four, fire place, flat-screen tv, exposed beams and lots of light. And every one is pet-friendly*! The A-Frames are at the Chalets' Old Man's Cave location of 140 acres, 31 cabins, pool, firepits, SaunaPods, electric vehicle charging stations, office and neighboring General Store. It sits two miles from the epicenter of the region: Hocking Hills State Park visitors center.

Big, Cozy, Wonderful
The cabin was MUCH bigger than we thought it would be based on the pictures, but was no less cozy. The fireplace is self-lighting with a timer, the hot tub was amazing, and though thunderstorms and high winds may have dampened our hiking plans, the cabin made for the most wonderful rainy weekend stay. Loved it!

Perfectly charming
A lovely cabin, perfect for our mother/daughter getaway. It’s beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, ideally situated close to all hiking trailheads, and offered the peace and serenity we were hoping to find.
We would recommend this property without hesitation.

Great Chalet Getaway
The A frame cabin (#5) that we stayed in was great. Clean, easy to find, cozy. Great spot for couples, a small family, Or friends trip!
I do wish there were actual ceiling fans or fans in the bedrooms- it can get warm at night, but cools off again. Just an extra bit of comfort that would be nice.
If you have pets or kids- bring a gate for the back porch area.
We would definitely rent from this property again.

Love the A-Frame Chalets in HH
This is the second time that we have stayed in these chalets. The first was four years ago. The design and layout of the eating area, living room and loft space are great. We were disappointed this time to find so much left unattended with the cleanliness of the property. We had a mouse the first night and set a trap and caught it the second night of our stay. We had to get additional storage protection for our food products and clean up mouse droppings. More help with the bugs with a little spray or something would have helped. I would suggest more attention to cleaning the floors, especially in kitchen and bathroom. We really like the property and would recommend it to others, however, this was not as meticulously cleaned as was during our first stay.

Mouse droppings and millipedes everywhere
property appeared cleanly upon initial arrival and appeared to be like advertised. By 9pm statted finding millipedes all over the living room area. When we went outside to the deck area found large pile of mouse dropping by the hot tub. The next morning found mouse droppings on the plates in the cabinets and on a steak knive in the drawer. Continued to find millipedes throughout the cabin one even dropped down on the kitchen table when we were packing to leave. Took pictures of mouse droppings and numerous millipedes. Stayed only because we had already driven several hours for a mini vacation.
