Very disappointed

Would not recommend this cabin. To begin with we were never sent a e mail with code to get in to the cabin. We did get in after a few phone calls. The road leading to cabin was full of ruts and diffficult to drive up to cabin. The pictures on the site were misleading. The fire place did not work even after talking with the the coordinator. Refrigerator was leaking water. Need to be honest and say that this is a very basic Cabin with very old appliances and it was not made clear that there was no wi if . We chose not to stay it was not a welcoming environment. We did not feel safe and chose not to stay.

Great cabin, horrible bed

The cabin was great for our first time, Clean Everything you need to stay for a weekend or longer. Very nice hot tub.But it did have a few problems the Bed was horrible very small and practically Laying on the floor, not ideal for a big tall guy like myself, dealing with back pain.

Just Bad

The smell when we walked in was so bad. The room was so dirty. The hot tub would not get warm. I reached out to the contact number multiple times with no answer. I needed a 4-wheel drive to get to my cabin. I payed for 2 days and stayed 1 night and got a hotel down the road. I would NEVER stay there again.

Don't go there

Unfortunately the pla e was dirty. I called the 1800 number for the property immediately and said i would send pictures which i did . They didn’t offer anything. How about someone to clean the place? I jad to clean it myself

Nice getaway

Check in was rocky because the detailed instruction email they sent went to my junk folder, and as warned in the email, there was little to no cell service to search for or download emails. Once in, we found the cabin to be perfect for our little overnight away. Everything was clean and neat and the AC worked well so we were comfortable right away. The deck and the hot tube were very enjoyable, but another cabin was visible not far away so the privacy and seclusion I was hoping for didn’t really exist. I was very disappointed with all the litter on the ground around the cabin. Cigarette butts, bottle caps, and plastic trash were common, especially around the fire pit. Fire pit area had broken glass. Overall it was a good stay and we may come back in the fall.

Big disappointment

This is a hard review to write because I don’t like to be unkind, but I do think it’s important to be honest. Sadly, we ended up not staying at this property. There were many things that were concerning. The bed was so small and did not have a top sheet. There was only a thin quilt for a blanket. There were dog hairs on the bottom sheet. The bathroom smelled like an outhouse. When we opened the sliding doors, we saw a cockroach on the floor. The deck was full of dead leaves and the chairs outside were filthy. There was trash left around the fire pit. The microwave shelf was full of dust. The top of the paper towel roll on the kitchen counter looked like it got wet and then was never changed out. We reached out to the manager after we found a new place to stay to share our concerns and to let him know that we would be staying elsewhere. The manager wanted us to have called right away so they could send out the cleaners. This would have been a huge inconvenience for us and no amount of cleaning would have gotten us to stay after finding the cabin in the state that it was in and seeing a cockroach. I tried to text the manger one last time before writing this review, but I was no longer able to reply. We found this also concerning. No amount of refund was given because we did not call or reach out in their desired time frame. We reached out once we checked into our hotel room. We were told we did not follow their policy. Like my title… big disappointment. :-(
