“We come to Slovenia ever couple of years to visit family and stay in our family cabin. Hotel Alex was such a pleasant surprise. Large room, incredible breakfast! We didn’t have dinner in the restaurant but we are sure it was also Wonderful. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful! There is even a small store within walking distance or a short 2 min drive. The proximity to the airport and Lake Bled as well as Ljubljana is perfect. We will stay here again on a future trip!”

“My 11-year-old son and I stayed here the first night arriving in Slovenia from Canada. PERFECT place to stay for first 24 hours. 30 min from airport, and walking in old town and hiking 2 hours around castle. 10/10. ”

“We had a truly wonderful stay at Guesthouse Urša. The host lady was incredibly kind and thoughtful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. “Our stay wwas marvelous. All the staff were wonderful. The welcome schnapps in arrival was a fun Slovenian touch!! We used the hot tubs and bbq amd everytjing was really easy to organise. The breakfast baskets every morning wrre wonderful and we made picnic lunches from the left overs! ”

“Always enjoy my stay at Grof Personally I prefer the guesthouse to the hotel (I have stayed in both) it just seems more homely, but regardless of where you sleep I’m sure you’ll enjoy your stay at Grof. The restaurant and coffee shop is very well frequented by the locals, which is always a good sign.”
