Every single staff that I have come in contact with has been wonderful. I had a terrible cough the night of my arrival, the guy at the front desk offered me hot tea with lemon and mint. My experience has been awesome and I will definitely stay when I come back.

Quite a pleasant hotel

The hotel was fine and I had a very pleasant stay, but the A/C wasn't always working, and the hot water went out one morning. Other than that, no problems.

Hotel Onomo is a lovely property! A first-class hotel, nicely appointed with a very attractive lobby that showcases Togo's culture. The restaurant had a varied menu and the food was delicious. The rooms had modern features and the outer courtyard and pool area were very inviting. The staff was very pleasant, approachable and helpful. I recommend it highly!

The hotel is clean but our Air did not work for three days. The staff was no accommodating in moving us of fixing the problem. $180. a night for a room that does not have air is unacceptable. My wife and I both were sick due to the poor air conditions. Once we left the room, all symptoms left. We will most likely not return to Onomo.

Mixed quality, overcrowded pool

The hotel is across the road from the city beach and is gated. It has recently been remodeled but is already showing signs of aging. The reception is friendly but does not accept credit cards, only debit cards. The rooms are on the small side with the sink and vanity inside the room and a shower with a cheap shower head partially open to the room, flooding the floor when in use. The bed is very firm and the bedding is cheap. Toiletries are cheap as well, bring your own. Wifi is free and works well. The pool is overrun with locals visiting for the day. If you are a hotel guest, you can forget about a nice swim after a day of sightseeing because there will not be any available loungers or towels. This may be different on weekdays but very frustrating on the weekend. The food is average at best, but at inflated prices, it's @$50US/person for dinner. The breakfast buffet is $15US/person which is too much for the quality of breakfast is so so. All in all, this is a convenient overnight if in Lome, and has a free airport shuttle than must be booked in advance. However, the situation with the pool being overrun with local day users is frustrating. Paying hotel guests who are staying overnight should get preference, but don't.
