Needs a lot of investment. The bedrooms are beyond shabby. Dirty carpets, peeling wallpaper, bathrooms that need cleaning and a refresh. A lack of "normal" plug sockets (some had round pin sockets from the 1960s). Needed to change rooms as the "family" room had a tiny fold down bed with a sprung mattress that would only be suitable for a very young child, not a 15 year old boy (his age was stated on the booking). The manager was totally dismissive - the receptionist was more helpful. The only bit of joy was the breakfast server who was smiling, helpful and polite.
