Dear Mr. Cooper,Thank you for your time to post a review.You booked small double room with request as high floor as possible, which was allocated and given to you (as the rest small double rooms are on lower ground floor).The booking cost 56.82 on Wednesday (price what hotel received), and it included all amenities: 24 hr reception-cafe/ bar. Free wi-fi , free unlimited tea and coffee making facilities in room, free linen and cleaning service, free bathroom toiletries, safe box, TV, telephone in room, hairdryer, mini fridge, iron and ironing board. Extra pillows, en-suite shower, queen bed. Location: Shepherd's Bush, zone 1/2, next to Metro station and largest shopping center in Europe-Westfield London.We are sorry you could not figure out how the individual AC-heating/Cooling system works- our staff is fully trained to show and explain. After switching it on, you can change temperature on display and allow 10 minutes to start heating up.We also have eclectic heaters and we are very happy to provide them any time.Please let us know next time and we will be happy to show you how it works.Kind regards,Management

Dear Hazel,We are so sorry to hear your room had an odor when you checked in.It seems like our neighbors across the road have misbehaved and done some repair works in their property (which sometimes happens unfortunately. (Neighbors have their own life...). We did spoke to them and they said they had no idea of the issue. In such cases we usually offer to close the windows and switch on the Air Conditioning. Sadly you stayed only for one night, we certainly would have offered you to move to the other room the next day (that is our procedure).We are very sorry we could not do anything else at that point as the issue was not something that was caused by Hotel. Dear Paula,Thank you for your feedback.Your described mysterious door is a staff room for our maintenance team who access the water pipes to fix them in case if that is needed. There is no access possible for any unauthorized person. The ladder is there as per health and safety regulations, regardless how strange that may seem, unfortunately it is not our position to remove them,The drinkable water is available at our bar 24 hours every day, so we are surprised to read you had to shop elsewhere.Please note we have 7 different room types to choose from and 4 bedrooms are on lower ground floor. However all windows let through the air and good AC is provided in every room. We also offer free tea and coffee making facilities in every room (no any hotel in the area offers it for free). Not all hotels also have an AC or elevator.
