Lovely place to stay, basically a guest room in a shared house though. Quiet hours meant no late showers which was hard when our days were planned ahead of time. Host was sweet and the room was nice, just felt like a lot of rules that would’ve been helpful ahead of time. The small town is so fun, loved walking around the stores and trying all the local restaurants - they close early so plan for that!

I by chance happened upon this home stay because I needed to be in the Orpington area, it sounded so much more welcoming than a travel lodge. Pat was there to meet and greet, all was warm and comfortable, a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Easy to park and Pat willing to help and advise on the area. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely host

A lovely lady greeted me on arrival. She was very helpful and polite. Offered me a cup of tea that i’m sure is not in her job description. She was very kind.

I got double bedroom the lady was very lovely to begin with and called me via my private phone number and gave the detail to her house on WhatsApp. Asked me to send my driving licence via WhatsApp. She didn’t check me in as she was in the gym left the key in safe place. She asked me to transfer money to her account end of the week. I had an issue to use the shower but one of her tenants came the next day and helped me out. The room was cold some days but there was a fan heather that can be plugged in if it was cold. Bed was comfortable and you have to adhere to the rules of the house. Clean the bathroom after use, put rubbish out and wash your plates. But overall not as comfortable as Primier in but tolerable and you need to share your space with other people staying there.

Patricia was a great host. I contacted her before my visit and she was always prompt to reply. She gave me some great hints on the local public transport which definitely facilitated my stay. There is a bus stop 50 m from the property leading to easy links to Central London. I would certainly consider visiting again
