If you are looking for an inexpensive place in the area …. Great. But the stairs are like climbing in the old castles and it is 3 full sets of stairs. The area is SO noisy. We stayed and June and had to have the windows open because it was SO hot. But then we couldnt sleep and there were at least 20 flying knats or flies. When I called them they did nothing and we moved to a hotel. We needed sleep.

It's in a great location that is close to shopping and walkable to the rest of the sights. The covent gardens subway station is close. It was very noisy. People partied down below late into the early morning. No A/C so pretty hot. Stairs were very steep so not for the elderly or infirm.

Covent Garden Stay

I booked this property a while ago I use Hotels.com a lot a week before my journey I went to my hotels.com app to check my stay!! Nothing came up & in my panic rebooked, about 2:45 on the day of the stay we got a call saying our 2 flats were ready 😱. We paid for 2 flats even though the policy said if I hadn’t confirmed then the booking would be cancelled We have paid for two apartments when we only stayed in one! Overall the communication was appalling and in the future we will do everything possible to avoid Stayo!

The stay was overall good but the service is really bad. We only got the password and how to get into the apartment because we reached out to stayo ourselves on the day that we arrived, we were worried that they wouldn’t respond as their number wasn’t going through that day. In terms of cleanliness it was good, but the shower is WAY too small, the bed was uncomfortable and the shower water, if you wanted warm, it had no strength to it. Also our room was very cold even with the heater on. Great blow dryer though, even though there was no full body mirror and no outlet in the bathroom.

Great stay!

The apartment was gorgeous, the only feedback I would give was that the bedroom was absolutely boiling at night and only 1 fan was provided. The toilet also had a smell of drains which wasn’t too pleasant! Overall really enjoyed the stay and the apartment was in a brillant location

Ups and downs

The plus side of the apartment was the location! Great location! However it was situated over a pub, which due to covid, wasn’t open, so I’m not sure how the noise would be if it were. Another plus is that it’s right next to a Tesco metro! Which is extremely convenient! Down sides were.. bed and pillows was so uncomfortable, very very hard to a point, it kept me awake , not good! Entrance was shabby and steep narrow stairs to climb , with luggage, to get to the room. No instructions for how the heating worked, so, therefore we were cold, we used the cooker and hob to help warm the room! Overall, I would use the apartment again, but take a few home comforts like pillows comfortable blankets with me next time!

Would definitely stay again

Really enjoyed staying here, it was clean, comfy (except the sofa bed) and perfect for our girls weekend. Excellent location, with Trafalgar Square down the road along with all other attractions within walking distance. The only thing I would say that is negatively was the apartment was really really warm, and the windows opened but they wouldn’t stay open, meaning we had to try to prop them open. Other than that a great stay!

Never believe the photos

Well the photos on the web were extremely different to the apartment. The double bed mattress was very soft on the outside were ppl would sit more. The room was dusty , the cupboard with the fridge in it smelt of pizza express kitchen . The drains in shower and sink would take a long time to let water down ,the TV glitched ( was fixed next day) . Very dissatisfied.

Fantastic Unit

Really fantastic location (also next door to Tesco metro) well appointed and comfortable unit. Lovely bedrooms and also a sofa bed so would sleep 6 people without a drama. Loved our stay, perfect 😃

Good Location but the property wasnt like the pics

To be honest, the advert shows multiple rooms to let but out of about 30 pictures only 3 of them were of the old property they gave us. I thought we would have something similar to the advert but was unhappy to see what we actually had let.
