Be careful if you are sensitive to noise.

I'm very concerned with the sleeping quality that I can get in a hotel so this hotel is between 3 to 4 out of 5 for me. The bedding is very comfortable and the room is very decent and clean. The only downside is that the wall and door are really too thin, and that the hotel is busy with people in and out. The door when closed would create a loud noise capable of waking everyone up. You can hear the music and conversation of the adjacent room easily. Also, the cleansing staff, although having done a great job in cleaning, was really creating loud noise when they clean (including slamming the door of the cleaning room). Despite putting up "do not disturb" sign outside my room, the staff knocked on my door at 9:20a.m. just to confirm if I need housekeeping service. This is simply too annoying and stressful for a quiet enjoyment of the room.

Great hotel, excellent location

They were able to check me in early, at noon rather than having to come back in the evening. My single room was way roomier than I imagined, clean and tidy. They also have a programme where they give you a bit of credit towards the bar or restaurant if you opt to skip housekeeping. The hotel is situated at a very convenient location, supermarket across the street, and tons of food options all around. All the major central London landmarks are within half an hour of walking distance, even Tate Modern.

This would have been a 5 as this is our 3rd stay at this hotel we was disappointed at the room we book a queen size but I would say the bed was a double and the room was so so small it was on floor 9 in the roof the room was clean and modern but it was just too small for the price we paid we ask to change but no other rooms were available instead they gave us free breakfast and a free drink which was good of them but still I do fill the size of the room should have been mentioned in the booking.

Location great. Check in could be better, we booked a superior king, called ahead to have 2 duvets, got placed in 2 singles first. Managed to get the booked room , small cosy room with comfortable beds. We booked breakfast for our last day and that was a mistake, restaurant is being renovated and it is in temporary location that is struggling to cater for the number of guests. Biggest problem though the subpar quality of the breakfast buffet, best to be avoided.

Ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel mit einer tollen Lage mitten im Herzen des West End. Die Themse ist fußläufig erreichbar, ebenso wie der Camden Market und der Seven Dails Market, wo es wirklich eine wahnsinnig große und gute Auswahl an unterschiedlichsten Küchen der Welt gibt. Das Frühstück war typisch Englisch, einziges Manko auch wenn viele Plätze geboten wurden, war der Platz hier und da für die entsprechend vielen Leute am Buffet etwas beengt, gerade bei den warmen Dingen wie Rühreier und co. Mein Solozimmer war wirklich super schön und gemütlich gewesen, zwar bot das Fenster nicht wirklich viel Tageslicht, aber ich schätze die meisten werden den Tag ohnehin in der Stadt selbst unterwegs sein. Das Zimmer war dennoch sehr geräumig und total gepflegt, von den Möbeln bis hin zum Bad. Warum gebe ich trotzdem nur 4 Sterne. Leider gab es bei meiner Dusche Probleme mit dem Wasser, welches während dem Duschen eigenständig und dauerhaft in der Temperatur schwankte - mal wurde es kalt und im nächsten Moment sehr heiß. Ich habe die Rezeption umgehend informiert und es wurde dann auch geschaut, jedoch ohne Erfolg. Also wieder angerufen und gesagt weitergeben, dass das Problem nach wie vor besteht. Das Ende vom Lied insgesamt drei Mal musste die Haustechnik kommen, bis das Problem zumindest etwas in den Griff bekommen wurde. Für mih hat es den sonst wirklich guten Eindruck etwas getrübt, denn das Strand Palce gehört schon zur gehobeneren Kategorie der Hotels in London.

Had asked for a for a quiet room two weeks in advance. but claimed all was sold out. Ended up in a smaller room facing a courtyard. However, doors not soundproofed by any means. Do too noisy for me. Also I had to complain to get the 10% mobile discount. Not impressed! Tought the area is great!
