This is the perfect hotel for a London stay. The beds are comfy, they bring you new towels each day. It’s the perfect size, it’s in a less busy London area where you can walk to places easily. Right next to stores. I will only stay here when I come to London!

Unbelievably dirty, not cleaned at all, next day cleaning just threw a towel on the bed - pictures with dirt stains and hair etc .. astronomically small room, no perks in room incl hair dryers etc … extra fee for leaving luggage - at most 1 star establishment- 3 star is fraud and a rip off like everywhere in these days

It was a terrible hotel. Maybe the worst hotel in Europe. First, it’s very hard to find, even the Uber driver had hard time finding it. Second, you are welcome in the darkness, the reception room is so dark and gloomy. The personal doesn’t seem to care about you. I had to wait for my room even if I arrived 30min earlier. First time I see this. Then when I ask if I could leave my luggage here while having a drink outside, they told me that it will cost 15pounds by item. Also, never seen that before. The corridors have a horrible and rotten smell. Finding your room is a challenge. Once you’re in, you discover a very very minimalist room. No table, no TV, no hair dryer, no door for the shower, very small sink, not even bedside table. Nothing. Just a bed, a sink, a toilet and a shower. At night you will fight with the spider climbing your leg and some weird and loud noises. Also, the room is as gloomy as the reception, there’s almost no light. I stayed 2 nights there and the cleaning staff never came I guess as the floor was definitely dirty and the bedsheets were not changed. Horrible experience, I DO NOT recommend it at all. I was fooled by the location and the low price. If only I knew. Also, the check out was at 10am, and the staff didn’t seems to care if my experience was good or bad.

Excellent location & comfy bed but the extreme minimalism of the rooms (no shelf, chair…..just 3 hooks) and the ‘underground’ aspect was not for us. Appreciated the free tea and coffee in Reception but missed a kettle in the room.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was super cool staying underground and the hotel staff were very nice/ helpful. They do charge for early check in, holding bags, and hairdryer. However, I knew that from reading the other reviews so it wasn’t a surprise. Overall it was a safe hotel in a AMAZING location right next to the tube. The rooms were small but super clean. Would stay here again

Absolutely not recommended! We spent 3 nights at the Zedwell Underground and unfortunately cannot report anything positive. The air in the corridors is very bad and it smells of drainage. Unfortunately we got dirty towels two days in a row and the floor in our room was very dirty. The absolute worst thing was that the room service left the door to our room completely open all day. We noticed it when we came back to the hotel in the evening. We had a direct view of our luggage from the corridor and anyone could have gone into the room. After contacting reception we were assured that the matter would be resolved by the next day, but we never heard back. We were also given an email address for the management, the email came back with ‘undeliverable’.

This was mistake to order this hotel. If you wan to try small jail experience, it is good for try. Shower water came to bedroom. Room door locked earlier before check out time 10 am. Amazing design underground hotel. Hope nothing bad happens here. Difficult to exit if fire or emergency happen. Never pick here again.

Zedwell Underground Hotel was a really nice property with lots of shopping and dining just steps away. I’ve never stayed in an underground hotel so it was a different experience. The rooms are small but cozy. This didn’t really affect me but just beware there are no televisions in the rooms. There is a charge to borrow the iron/ironing board and also to hold your luggage. It’s within walking distance to the underground and tube lines for easy transportation. The staff were really friendly and were readily available if i needed them. There’s a 24 hour restaurant right next door and lots of bars/clubs within walking distance in Soho! I’d stay here again.
