「Made the booking last minute for my spouse's birthday. The room was adorable and cozy! The bed was super comfy, views didn't disappoint, and leaving the back windows open allowed us to hear the ocean all night while we slept. Definitely plan to return in the future and better prepare to make use of the kitchenette so we only leave for beach walks!」

「Loved our stay here, newly renovated rooms. Right on the beach with ocean views. Beach is a short walk. Has no breakfast but has tons of dining options within 2 min walking distance. 10/10 would recommend it!」

「What I liked best was the ease of getting in and out of the parking lot. Although the front entrance is on a main road there is a rear entrance that was very easy to get in and out of. Also, the lobby was really nice. 」

「Had never stayed at Shelbourne before but it definitely has a special charm to it. It's updated, modern touch with classic old school vibes, you actually get a room key! Attic room was cozy and quiet, very restful nights sleep. Bed was comfortable and relaxing after long days. There was nobody at the front desk when I checked out early so kind of felt odd but not terribly unsafe. I have a regular place when traveling with pets and family but this was a sweet gem great for just me and my spouse. 」

「Excellent and attentive host. Was there to check us in early and give us a history of the house. Had a delicious hot breakfast made for us the next day. Our room had a harbor room and was so quiet. We played pool in the basement and used the bar and living room down there as well. All in all it was a great start and we hope to go back some day. 」

「Great find, good rates. Owner very responsive Property clean.Located in Seaview so you don't have to compete with Longbeach heavy traffic. Easy walk to beach and restaurants. Only issue I had was with some drag racing on road adjacent. Not owners fault just straight road. I would definetly recommend and encourage others. 」
