"We LOVED our stay here! This cabin was clean and beautiful! We loved the views of the water! Our kids loved the loft bedroom and playing in the lovely yard! It was a perfect location for exploring Acadia! We hope to return. The host was very communicative and already had the pack n play set up for our toddler, which was just very thoughtful and welcoming. Would recommend this lovely cabin in the woods to all our friends and family for the future!"

"Me and my wife had an amazing 5 night stay. This house is a perfect distance from Acadia and Bar Harbor. Not to mention, a simple grocery store, ice cream parlors, and beautiful fishing/swimming spots are all within 15-20 minutes of the house! We were able to fit everything we had planned on our itinerary in this trip. Great privacy, only thing I wished the house had was a working lock on the back door and or curtains on the living room windows. None the less, great property and owner. Alex had excellent communication and was very polite to us. It was also a nice suprise to us that he had two kayaks. Me and my wife went on a few pond visits with them!Thank you Alex and thank you Maine. -The Plouffe's"

"JF was an amazing host, going above and beyond any other host I have had. The accomaditions were secluded and peaceful yet minutes away from anything we wanted to visit. If I am ever back in the area this will be my first choice for lodging."

"We originally looked at staying in Bar Harbour. So glad we chose this place. It was only 20 mins from town and Acadia National Park. The place was very clean and quite. Would highly recommend."

"We had a wonderful stay! The home had everything we needed for our family of 6. It was so clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The location worked well for our family to explore the whole island. Having Southwest Harbor so close was very convenient for food, coffee and ice cream! We loved the hikes at Ship Harbor Trail and Wonderland and did a Lobster and Nature Boat Tour out of Bass Harbor that was a real highlight. Long Pond was perfect to cool off with a quick dip a couple times during our stay and we rented kayaks one evening to paddle around. It was also easy to get to the other side of the island and Bar Harbor, which we did every day. The hosts were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We didn't hear them or see them throughout our stay. Acadia was beautiful; we'll be back again!"

"We had a wonderful stay. We loved the house and private setting. Hot tub was a plus for us. Our week wasn’t very hot for swimming. So it was a good backup plan for the kids."

"This was easily the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. We wanted a quiet spot away from the crowds and that is exactly what we got. At night all you hear are the frogs and loons. We would love to stay again in the future."
