「Stayed in Room 14 for one night. Room very tired - headboard peeling in flakes onto pillows, furniture shoddy & worn. Toilet roll with 4 sheets left folded at end on holder to look nice in en-suite. Room in desperate need of refurbishment. Staff however were very friendly, courteous & professional. Nice meal/drinks at reasonable price in Restaurant. Price for room also reasonable. Would stay again but only for night or two.」

「Check in was fast. The room allocated to me was easily accessible and very spacious. The plumbing system needs to be repaired. I found something floating in the wc when I first got into the room. Thought the housekeeping did not do a thorough job, but after I flushed the toilet, the floating objects kept reappearing. It was rather disgusting. The hotel has a pub and food was good, service was great too. 」

「This hotel is a pub with rooms above. It is a period building so has it's quirks but that adds to it's charm. Our room was spacious & bathroom was very clean. Other furnishings a little tired & electrics need updating as extension leads with multiple sockets pose a safety issue. Food was excellent & staff were amazing. Definitely would stay again as in a great location in town. 」

「Nice small, clean, cosy hotel, characterful but modern, ideal for visiting Blenheim Palace area. Parking off road at front. Room spotless, has everything you want. Delightful cafe style eaterie avail for choice of breakfast and light snack lunches 8am - 5pm only. Staff very helpful and friendly. Altogether a great place to stay.」

「Brilliant stay, check in was quick and smooth. Show to our rooms which were clean and spacious with large king bed. Staff were excellent during the stay and even did us a meal which wasn't on the recently updated menu. Breakfast freshly cooked and again adapted the choice for my colleague. 」
