「This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! The hut was perfect, the bed extremely comfortable with high-quality linens and duvet/pillows. Kitchen very well-supplied with everything I needed (and more). 「This place was amazing. It has been lovingly converted into accommodation with so much attention to detail that you don’t want to leave. The additional Christmas decorations were super cute and appreciated as well as the full service kitchen (with coffee and milk), games and fabulous top floor 360°window to watch the sunrise/sunset, wildlife etc.
Highly recommend a stay here. 」

「Was happy with the lovely smells and little extras they had , the down side was not very comfortable sofa and chair to sit on and no microwave ,and the shower was only luke warm ,kitchen was small and units for difficult to open 」

「We stayed for one night and loved it! The apartment is new, spotless, and in an excellent location. We really appreciated the free parking, as well as the thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, and all the kitchen utensils we needed. The beds were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. Our only suggestion would be to have a few extra pillows, but overall it was a wonderful stay and we’d happily come back!」

「Great house, clean and well appointed with good parking. Absolutely no complaints with the home or the check in process. The issue was its proximity (or lack thereof) to Oxford center or having any cafes or restaurants near by. Its location meant that any foray into Oxford even for good eating options needed you to drive in (it’s a 40 minute walk otherwise) and taking a car into Oxford isn’t a great experience.」
