"Although the appearance seemed a bit worn, we were very comfortable. There wasn't breakfast, however there was still a microwave and toaster oven available. The beds were comfortable, the towels were soft, water pressure & temperature was great, and even though the AC/Heater were dated, it worked like a champ. Definitely a great stop along the road for a "no-frills" stop without sacrificing comfort. "

"Having all our kids and grandkids together, away from all the chaos of the world, for a few days, really was a piece of heaven. The wide open space was perfect for the kids who love to run and play outdoors. There was plenty of space in the 3 houses to meet everyone's needs. The 2 kitchens helped us to easily keep everyone fed! This is a beautiful property for a large group of people."

"We stayed in the suite with the kitchenette. The bed was comfy and the room was perfect for two people to relax after our adventures. The hosts are super nice and very knowledgeable about the area. The backyard was eclectic and very comfortable. Lots of kitty petting going on by us. Overall a very pleasant 40 yr wedding anniversary."

"I stayed at the cottage for 3 nights while rockhounding on that edge of the state. It was charming. Compact and thoughtfully designed, equipped and decorated, it was quiet and next to a stream. It was nicely situated for a number of rockhounding locations, and has a nice porch suitable for sorting rocks. And sitting on and having a drink. I very much enjoyed my stay."
