I’ll start by saying the host was fantastic—very responsive and easy to communicate with. Check-in was simple, which I appreciated. However, there were several issues that made our stay less enjoyable.First, the listing photos do not accurately reflect the current condition of the property. The driveway and gate setup is also challenging. Because it’s on a two-way road, stopping to open the gate feels unsafe as cars can easily pass by while you’re trying to enter.Cleanliness was another concern. There were spiderwebs in multiple areas, ants in the bathroom, and the bedsheets and towels did not seem freshly laundered. Additionally, the bed and pillows were very firm and uncomfortable.The property itself could use some attention—things feel worn and outdated. I understand renovations take time and money, but even a fresh coat of paint and some basic repairs would make a huge difference.Lastly, the biggest issue was noise. This is a duplex with very thin walls, and unfortunately, we could hear the other guests arguing loudly well into the night, which made it impossible to sleep. I did reach out to the host, and they did their best to address it, but the problem persisted.The neighborhood is nice, and the host truly did their best, but overall, we wouldn’t stay here again.
