「Customer service was really friendly and helpful. Our room did not have the curtain that minimizes sunlight and being on the sunrise side we were woken up rather early. We thought we forgot to close it so we didn’t say anything right away. That afternoon we realized our room just didn’t have it. Our AC made a clicking noise (like the sound of a fan in long hanging blinds) all night. Our other room had a tub that didn’t drain. They did fix it, but for a two night stay we shouldn’t have had to ask...

「Stayed at Under Canvas Mount Rushmore twice on a recent trip west to Yellowstone: once on the way there and once on the way home. The tents were very clean, and the view is beautiful. Beds and pillows in the Safari tents were thin and squeaky, but fine. A few items of concern: (1) the bathrooms / showers need maintenance. More than once there was a line to get in. Of the five/six bathrooms in the common area, one was closed for maintenance, and the showers in at least two were in need of repair...

「My wife and our grand daughter stayed 2 nights in one of the duplex cabins. This was our third time to stay at the Rock Crest. The check in lady was very nice and furnished us enough quarters for the coin laundry on premises. The room was nice and clean, the beds were comfortable. We made our own coffee and did not go to the breakfast which was offered. The family in the other duplex were very nice folks. The cabin was convenient to Custer State Park and Mount Rushmore. My grand daughter enjoyed...

「First time stay at this place… If you are looking for a unique experience rather than a regular hotel, the Chalet is the place. The Chalet is pet friendly. I traveled with my small dog and enjoyed having a lot of room in this tiny cabin. I had my own parking space. The Chalet is walking distance to all the shopping on the main drag. Dollar General is next door and the Dakota Mart across the road. There is a small refrigerator in the cabin and they offer take and go breakfast. I plan on staying...
