First, statement of swimming pool available was FALSE, The pool was closed throughout our stay while it was the most important factor of choosing the property, Communication was hard too. Then the property was so dirty, feet turned black after walking on the floor. Supplies ran low and finished before we left, had to buy some ourselves. Also there were no tea towels, light bulb was not in the lamp, We were dissatisfied staying there.

Spacious, close to perfect home
This house is really great. Especially when you are traveling with adults who need their own room. You will have a hard time finding a 4bd 3bath home that doesn’t have twin beds or bunks. We all slept comfortably. The location is great. We flew in to Long Beach Airport and traffic wasn’t too bad. We also traveled to Disneyland, Pasadena, and LA during our stay and only caught traffic during rush hour from LA. The decks are beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet and there is security that drives around and is parked near the pool to make you feel safe. The check in process was so simple and the hosts were great with communication.

Great location, not super clean
The location of this property is fantastic, with amazing views of the mountains! And there is plenty of space for a family of 12 to have room to not be on top of each other. Bedrooms were great, with trundle options for kids, which was awesome. There was a great selection of spices in the cabinets, which helped for meals. Sadly, the pool was not open, which was one of the reasons we wanted to stay there. The kids were very disappointed the pool was closed and we didn't know. And the place was not super clean. None of us could walk inside the house without shoes on, because our feet would be black. If the house was a little cleaner, it would have been the perfect place. Even so, we had a fantastic time and loved the space and the views!

The house smells of humidity the cooler smells of humidity that's why the machine that makes ice is dirty and that makes the ice taste ugly the sponge to wash the dishes smelled ugly and that made the frets instead of cleaning them stinks them but the cleaning leaves a lot to decear the bathrooms also smelled of humidity the showers of the bathroom spend too much water in

Lovely home to stay in
We enjoyed staying in this home. We had everything we needed; the beds are comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet so it was easy to sleep. Checkin process was smooth and easy. The host is an excellent communicator. The location is midway between Disneyland and Universal which fit our plans perfectly.

Great place to stay
Great place to stay for three families visiting Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm. Plenty of space for 9 people but the air conditioning shuts itself off at night so it is very hot for sleeping—even with fans.

The perfect place
We so enjoyed our stay! The host was exceptional…quick to respond, checked in to make sure everything was ok and provided an amazing home. The pool is beautiful! The outdoor patio was the perfect spot in the morning and in the evening! The home provided the perfect space for our family as we traveled to California for our son’s wedding. It provided exceptional space for everyone to gather together and have their personal space! It was just perfect!

Very very dirty and bad equipped !!
The photos of the house on the vrbo website were looking good. But at arrival it was very disapointing. It was very very dirty, stains everywhere in the kitchen and bathrooms and everything in the kitchen was sticky from grease. We are a family of 6 people, there were only 2 forks, one cooking pot, no kitchen towels, no fabric cleaning wipes. The tile countertops are damaged , they can not be cleaned well. The kitchen is very old and should be replaced. There is mold in the refrigerator... people can get ill from dirt like that. Everywhere was dust and hair in the beds. When we took the sheets of before we left the house we found hair and dirt and stains on our mattress. The mattress in the downstairs bedroom should be replaced, you can not ly straight, you will roll over. The house is on a busy loud street. Not relaxing at all. The house needs a deep cleaning and repairs. When you pay a cleaning fee you expect to find a clean house and it was not!! Really really disappointing experience! I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND THIS HOUSE TO ANYONE !!!!

Second, we do have fully equipped, and we also have some backup supplies inside the house. You are free to contact me if you can't find them. Found hair on the bed after you have lying on the bed for 4 nights is not our fault either. Disappointed
The house was not clean, mold in showers & on kitchen counters. Needs a deep cleaning. Bathrooms have been remodeled but kitchen counters & cabinets need to be updated. Master bedroom very noisy because it's backs up to a very busy street. Would not stay there again.

Nice neighborhood
This place was in a great neighborhood felt very safe and secure. It was about a 40 min drive to Disneyland. Wasn't the cleanest very dusty. Upstairs shower wouldn't drain it was full of hair that we had to pull out and the toilet in the master bedroom kept clogging and the dishes were all dirty. The walls all over the house had stuff splattered on them. Upstairs shower curatin was nasty as well. Also make sure nobody flushes the toilet while your in the shower because you will get burned. Definitely needs some TLC. We wouldn't stay there again. The owner of the property had great communication and was quick to respond to messages. If they fixed it up and did a deep clean could be a nice place to stay.

Enough space for all
Great experience overall. Was not able to use the pool because it was not open yet and could not park in the driveway which was weird. The garage was definitely big enough for two cars though. It was a great area and the house was beautiful.

Perfect for Family Getaway Trip
Loved the area and the property. There was plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable. We had a miscommunication at checkin but the owner was easily reachable and was able to resolve it quickly. Perfect for families and small children.

Good place away from the hustle and bustle.
The owners were great to communicate with, very quick to answer, very helpful. We had 8 of us, the house was spacious and met our needs wonderfully. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable. The location was great. We felt very safe and the view was fantastic. We have no complaints. We do have a suggestion; there could be more towels and the floors were in need of cleaning. Our experience was wonderful and if we would ever come out this way again, we would definitely be back. Thanks for a great vacation.

Quiet, comfortable and great place to stay!!
This house was very nice and spacious. It was a lot of room for my family, everyone had their own room and bathroom and it was very, very comfortable. I would stay again if I’m ever in the city !!! The owners were also quick to reply to all our messages!

We deeply cleaned the house every time after each guest checked out. You told me that you found a single hair on one bed and you thought we didn't wash the beddings. We wash and sanitize all the towels and beddings every time, you even can feel them with a nice and clean smell. Because of one single hair on just one bed isn't fair to us.

Not what we expected
After reading other reviews, we were concerned about bug problems. Good news, there were no problems with bugs! 🙂 The house is old and in need of repairs. Everyone has their own standards of "clean" and this rental was not up to my standards. Dirty windows, dishes not clean, showers didn't seem clean and they are desperately needing repair. Street noise made sleeping upstairs difficult. I suggest ear plugs if you're not used to street noise. Neighborhood pool area is clean but it is not close. However, it is a beautiful walk to get to the pool. Overall, it was ok. Could be cleaner.

Secure location
Secure location with 24 hour security. Arrived to rental and spent 1st day cleaning. Could not find way to keep ants controlled! Kids terrified of bugs in house for our week stay.

I'm so sorry that we didn't meet your expecting. We found some ants in one of our bedroom after you checked out. We also found this is because of there are lots of food dropping in that bedroom. But we also had pest control came in right away to make sure everything is fine.

Property was in a great setting. Felt safe inside the gated community. The floors needed to be cleaner. I was not expecting to buy glasses and silverware, toilet paper and paper towels before uNpacking. Understood “limited supplies” how ever there should at least have enough for 10 people. Since we were in California for the Rose Parade, this unit was okay. We only had breakfast there. Plenty of room for the six of us.

Friendly & responsive property owners, an interesting mix of modern & needing a few updates
Nice choice for a family with older children. Stairs and hard flooring would make it tough for toddlers (3 of 4 bedrooms are upstairs). This condo is on a quiet gated street but backs onto a busy street. There are fans the owners has provided to generate white noise and as a light sleeper I had zero problems sleeping using a fan. The owners have laid beautiful new tile in downstairs kitchen & hallway. Other bedroom & living room have beautiful wood looking new vinyl plank flooring. Bathroom floors have older linoleum and cabinetry and bath fixtures need to be updated (master bath fan went out during our stay, faucets are 70s style). Hot water heater kept up with 7 of us with no problems. Kitchen has modern stainless major appliances, but is sparsely outfitted if you plan to cook and feed a large group. It does have an extra folding table & chairs besides what is in dining room. Water pressure for filtered tap & fridge water is super low. Owner is very responsive and came right away to fix the furnace (pilot was out) and look at bath fan and is very respectful and friendly. Home is well kept and with a few more updates like to the bathrooms it would be outstanding. WiFi is excellent. Living room furniture comfortable and clean. TV in living room small and though newer, is not a smart TV and programs were all in Chinese. No DVD player or cable. No card or board games. Basketball and tennis courts were nice (BYO ball, racquets). Pool not heated so too chilly in December but Jacuzzi was nice. Modern front loading washer & dryer in garage were a nice feature we really appreciated. No extra towels or blankets are provided. Overall we had a great stay and would choose th8s home again.

Beds comfortable No can opener or regular dish soap (we purchased) available. Bathroom faucets faulty (spraying water), Batteries in TV remote died, bathroom fans not working well, ice maker faulty, no TV selection, very minimal supplies; patio not maintained. It served our purpose for this trip. Thank you.

I'm so sorry that we didn't meet your expecting. There is a can opener in the cabinet. We do provide dish soap. We fixed bathroom faucet and the fan, changed the battery for the TV remote. Ice maker not working is because someone shut off the water supply for ice maker, we do not provide cable TV but we do provide local TV channel via antennas and we pre-logged in the Netflix for your entertainment. We provide supplies are based on the number of people you are going to stay.

This townhouse has 4 large bedrooms and 3 full baths...and everything you need for your stay. Condo was clean, neat and tidy. Lin, the owner was prompt to return correspondence and answer questions. Convenient & safe but is old & tired townhouse.
Pretty good layout of the space for families. Most light switches are at extremely low height from the floor, not good for 1-2 years old toddlers. Floors can use good cleaning for bare-footed people to stay also. Bare minimum house supplies provided.

Cute house in gated community but loud street
We had a small problem which the owner addressed right away. The house is cute and big enough for our family but right behind it was a very busy street that made it hard for me to sleep. I loved the security of a gated community with shared amenities such as the pool and hot tub. I also loved that it was close to lots of stores/restaurants.

Large, comfortable and close to all attractions (LA traffic permitting 🤣)
This is a beautiful house that has lots of room (5 of us) and is in a great location for all sightseeing. Beds are really comfortable and the lounge and dining area is great for socialising. The washing and drying facilities are spot on as is the garage as it fitted our Tahoe perfectly. The gated community felt safe. The access is easy and simple. The pool and tennis courts fabulous. Lin, is a great host and responds very fast, and wants to make your trip successful. She even allowed us a late checkout which was fantastic. Our only slight improvement opportunities would be to have the house cleaner as in dust free with some more detailed guidance information and supplies. (Great for all attractions; Be aware that LA has hideous, notoriously bad traffic. If it says it's approx 20 miles away then be prepared to sit in traffic for 2 hrs to get there. Sometimes changing your satnav from fast to short to beat some of the queues especially the freeways).

spacious but needs some love
Home is spacious and in very quite neighborhood with strict parking rules. Home needs some TLC, older home in need of some updates in bathrooms (showers especially) kitchen refrigerator ice maker & water doesn't work, kitchen sink filter water doesn't work. Very limited on kitchen pots pans etc... 1 TV in whole home with Very limited channels, Wifi is good. Not enough towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher soap (if going to use dishwasher)& trash bags for a week stay for a family of 6 so bring extra with you, there is a washer & dryer so you can wash towels & wash cloths. Overall my biggest complaint is in the cleaning department, home needs a lot of cleaning including bugs on ceilings in rooms & bathrooms etc...

1. Owners are very nice and were responsive to our needs. 2. Big and spacious home, great for a family situation. 3. A little dated, and not as clean as a rental should be. 4. Light bulbs out that we replaced. 5. Kitchen floor was unacceptably dirty. I used a lot of bleach and scrubbed it to make it half way decent. Flooring needs to be replaced. 6. Good neighborhood. 7. Use of the pool was great and we had it all to ourselves. It could be great with a little TLC and a little updating.

Thanks for your suggestions. The floor is not dirty because the yellow to black gradient color make it looks like that way, I feel very sorry about this and we have changed the whole floor to brand new tiles at the beginning of this September.

Clean, comfortable and lots of room
This house was perfect for my sisters and I. There were four of us sisters and we each got a bedroom and there were 3 bathrooms which made it very easy to get ready in the morning. The neighborhood was beautiful and we felt safe. The house was clean and comfortable, a bit dated but it was perfect for our needs. The owner responded right away to my texts. No problems encountered during our stay.

We stayed for a week. Arrived to a clean home. The maid deserves a raise. It was spotless. The owner was easy to get in touch with. She responded promptly. Very spacious house. Very comfortable home.
As a family of eight, we found this home met our needs comfortably. Having a bedroom on the main floor is a real plus, plus three bedrooms upstairs, afforded everyone privacy when they just wanted to relax and read. Check in and out was very easy, and didn't require anyone to be there. We really enjoyed having the extra table and chairs which we set up on the patio for brunch and other meals. The two car garage was able to accommodate both our vehicles, and there is also on-street parking if needed. Having the full size washer and dryer was a great plus, especially after spending the day at the beach. Location is an hour away from LAX airport, and there is plenty of nearby grocery stores and Target. I would definitely try to book this home again if I'm staying in the LA area. It is in a gated community which made us feel very safe. The swimming pool is good sized and very well maintained.

GREAT LOCATION, GREAT ASSISTANCE
Conveniently located in Hacienda Heights, this property was the perfect spot for our LA vacation. It was around 1 h from LAX, 40 mins from Universal and 50 mins from Disney (could be less, but the day we went there was too much traffic). Hollywood was 30-40 mins depending on traffic. It is located in a very quiet part of town and the neighborhood was great. The house was clean, comfortable and big enough for my family of 10 and the best part of all was the assistance. Lin Jia was always there with a prompt response, very effective, very friendly. We felt very comfortable with her. We will love to stay here again!
