Our experience of the West Drift Manhattan Beach Hotel was excellent. Very friendly staff and a great location. Although we didn’t use the golf course, the views were exceptional. The hotel is situated near lots of good food and shopping areas. Also conveniently located near to the airport. A few negative points were the parking. The price difference between self parking and valet were not too much, although both expensive. The valet car park is very close to the hotel and walking to the car would be quicker than waiting for the valet, which made it seem pointless. Also the staff maybe very friendly but can be slow. We waited a while for the staff to bring our bags down and after sometime decided to bring these ourselves. The bathroom is decent, but the tub and shower could be much better. The bathrooms were clogged on our 2nd day and took a long time to drain. Overall a very clean and comfortable stay. I would definitely come back here in the future.

never leave reviews but I was so happy I picked this hotel had a flight out of LAX but didn’t want to book a boring airport hotel that feel industrial. This hotel felt like I wasn’t even in LA the view is nice the staff is amazinggg they really went above and beyond, and location was close so we could get to the Tia port easy and even had time to explore Manhattan beach!! Thanks for the memories can’t wait to be back to try the activities

Nice experience but did not like how a sports team was staying at the hotel during my stay and fans were running around the hotel freely. Didn’t feel safe with my daughters with so many people running around that weren’t even staying there. Other than that a nice hotel would stay again

More than a good location
Chose to stay her because of location. Easy walk to Veterans’ Parkway and beaches as well as family living near by. With that in mind the good accommodations, restaurant pool and services made the hotel so much more. Will return!

They need new a/c’s
The air conditioners are extremely loud. The ability to control them is limited. They go on and off every hour or so. Ruined our stay being woken up every couple of ours with and extremely loud AC. No parking except for $43 a night parking or $51 valet parking.

Hands down the best staff at every point of contact! The world knows that even before the pandemic customer service has gone down the toilet. Everywhere in service based businesses folks tend to do less than the bare minimum. This makes Westdrift stand out with their level of genuine friendliness and respect that my husband Johnny and I have not experienced in a very long time. The level of customer service cannot be touched by any of the many luxury properties we’ve stayed at in the last 18 months. Fantastic fitness center, heated pool, 9 hole course and in house restaurant. Enjoyed our time here tremendously!

I absolutely loved staying at this hotel. In fact, I had another hotel booked for the back end of my stay in Los Angeles, and I actually cancelled that hotel to come back to the Westdrift hotel. From check-in to check out the staff was absolutely top-notch. The facilities were fantastic. Across the street is a supermarket with absolutely phenomenal food choices, CVS, shake shack, Philz coffee…. Easy to get to great shopping and the beach.

The pool was heated which the kids loved it was quiet. The food place closed at 10 PM. The wifi didn’t work. The bed was super hard could barely sleep. There was no lock on the bathroom door or fan in the bathroom.
