Quiet Stay with a Pool
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the 210 freeway. We took walks in the neighborhood. There is a nice front yard and backyard with a pool. We did not use the pool. The kitchen is well-stocked; there are plenty of pots and pans. We found the kitchen spacious enough to make a Thanksgiving dinner. Beds were comfortable. There was plenty of water pressure and the water heated quickly. The bathrooms may have been updated d-i-y as the faucets turned backwards and were quite awkward. We enjoyed using the gas grill (connected to a gas line) and ate meals outside by the pool. Although the neighbors had a wild Thanksgiving party complete with a bounce house and microphone, the windows are insulated well enough to cut down the noise. Streaming was very slow and cut out often perhaps due to the televisions so we streamed on computers. It was a little inconvenient not having a closet to use in the master, but we did not use the third bedroom and were able to use the closet there. The biggest problem we had was that we were asked to allow several workmen to access the backyard. A plumber came to replace the water heater. First, he came to measure and then came another time to install a new unit. However, someone had lost the key to the gate that led to the heater, so we had to allow a locksmith access as well. On top of that, the manager lost contact with the pool equipment and we were asked to reconnect that. Overall, we had a nice, relaxing stay.

Sunny and lovely
This house is spacious and charming, well laid out and appointed, comfortable climate control, and the pool and deck area is very nice. Beds were comfortable. House clean, neighborhood is safe and charming, near the Rosebowl, and grocery stores <10 min away. BYO pool toys- the ones there have seen better days. But it’s hard to find any fault with this lovely house, one of the best we have stayed at. We would love to come back.

Family Vacay
We brought our 10 and 7 year old girls to CA for the first time, and this house was perfect! The pool was a fantastic addition, especially since we were visiting during a heat wave! The pool deck does get really hot in the sun, so we had to use towels and frequently move the umbrella to make it useable for the kids. Other than that, everything was perfect!

My second time here - Still excellent!
This is my second time staying at this property. I stayed here a year ago and had a wonderful time. This time was the same superb experience! Manager is very responsive with communication, house is fully stocked, everything is very clean and comfortable and it's a great location! I would definitely stay here again!

Felt like home
We came to LA to visit my daughter and her husband- unfortunately we were here during a week with record rainfall, but your home was the perfect place to curl up and get comfortable. We made great meals and spent lots of time in the great room talking, reading and watching college hoops. The beds were so comfortable and we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back to our new favorite spot in Pasadena!

Just perfect
This house truly felt like our home for the 10 days we spent here. The house has lovely light and a great layout and everything you need. Plus it’s in a great location as an easy jumping off point to all the places we needed to go in the LA area. And the pool was warm and lovely. While we didn’t bring our dog, we appreciated that the outdoor areas were fenced in and very well taken care of. Also everything inside and out was stylish and well appointed. Can’t wait to return!

Pasadena trip
We had a wonderful trip. Communication was excellent. The house was very comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor space - pool and lounges every day. Convenient area, restaurants and stores are nearby. Highly recommend High State for breakfast. We will stay here next time we are in Pasadena.

Home away from home
A perfect home away from home for myself and my family while visiting family in Pasadena. Bigger and even more beautiful than the pictures can show. The location was great and we loved the outdoor areas to hang out in. It was great for cooking, relaxing and entertaining with the whole family. We would love to stay here again.

Perfect home base in Pasadena
We were looking for a home base near the Rose Bowl and this place was so nice we almost didn't get to the event on time. We started every day with some sun and a dip in the pool. Everything was top notch, kitchen, beds, furniture, kitchen, appliances and a friendly helpful host. Zero complaints, would definitely stay again.

Rose Bungalow Retreat
The Rose Bungalow is exactly as shown in the pictures. The home was very clean and spacious for our family of four for the week. Gina was so very helpful and quick to respond. We highly recommend the Rose Bungalow if you’re traveling to Pasadena/LA.

Easily my favorite of all the properties I have ever rented.
I have been using vrbo (and HomeAway before it) for the past five years now, and this is the first time my breath was actually taken away when I entered a property. The house was absolutely gorgeous! Everything was clean and well kept, and never had we slept in beds more comfortable! The decorations were tasteful ad the rooms were all the perfect size. The property was in the perfect location, only a short drive from all that we wanted to do in the area, and the pool was refreshing after a long day of sightseeing. The owner was so nice, answered my questions quickly, and was very accommodating! We are definitely saving this property for future visits to the LA area!!!

Our family really enjoyed our time at this VRBO. The house was comfortable, extremely clean, stayed cool on hot days and had everything we needed. The kids loved the pool and having the barbecue available was great! We have family in the area and my kids already said they hope we can stay in this house next time we visit the area!

even more beautiful than the photos
we loved staying here! the interior design was incredible and we had so much fun with the swinging chair. nice kitchen and industrial sized fridge to fit all of our food. cozy beds, couch and plenty of space to hang out. our only problem we ran into is not getting in contact with the owner soon enough to heat the pool. it was a bit chilly since the temperatures hadn’t quite warmed up yet- would have been perfect on an 80 or 90 degree day.

Clean, modern, good for multi generation groups
Very clean, beautifully decorated, modern house. Full kitchen supplies with outdoor BBQ grill was extremely useful. Pleasantly surprised there was a pack and play - good for families with little ones! Property manager was very responsive and friendly even at a late night hour. The neighborhood and neighbors were very friendly (waving hello!) and our family who are from LA commented it's known as a safe location near everything you need for food and shopping. One thing to be aware of if traveling with someone who uses a cane or walker is that the front walkway may be a little challenging because it's paver stones and gravel but that wasn't a problem for my group. Will definitely try to stay here again in the future!

Great home base during CA getaway and college visit trip
This home was very inviting, charming and comfortable. The 4 of us enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The floor plan is spacious, the location is very convenient and accessible (however due to proximity to hwy could be loud) Kitchen offered nice amenities, showers were great and beds were quite comfortable. Home decor has a casual, hip vibe.

Four of the 6 in our party had just finished hiking 212 miles on the John Muir Trail, so the ample living room, patio and pool, plus the kitchen and laundry facilities, provided a welcome location to relax and rejuvenate together. We were grateful for the off-street parking and conveniently located neighborhood.

Stylish home-away-from-home in quiet neighborhood
Rented this house mainly because it had a lovely pool (to help us better enjoy the hot summer days) and because it is close to downtown Pasadena and L.A., so we could look at some colleges with our older teen. Found it to be completely updated, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and conveniently organized. Anything that we needed was quickly provided by the management, who were friendly and very responsive. I would definitely stay there again!

Great LA getaway
This home was so nice and comfy, the house is a lot bigger in person than it looks in the pictures online. Everything was newly renovated and very well kept. With also a yard in the front. My friends and I kept saying all weekend that it didn't even feel like we were in LA it felt like we had our own getaway at a private destination, and communication with the owner was great!

Wonderful place to enjoy some pool days
Check in was smooth and simple. Pool and yard are great. I personally like that there wasn’t random things everywhere, it gave my family (toddler) tons of room to run around and I wasn’t constantly making sure he didn’t grab things he shouldn’t have. I agree with a lot of reviewers saying the beds are awful, they really are, bring a blanket to put down to soften them up but the rest of the house is so great that I would plan for that and definitely stay again.

Love the space, the interior is beautifully designed and decorated, pool is perfect for 5-8 people. Note the evenings get cool so I’d recommend paying for the pool heating.
