"Nice place"

"First, they placed us in a Ocean View suite (1st floor) room to the right side next to another hotel/pool area with lots of talking noise/music. We requested a room change and then they placed us on the far left side on the 4th floor. Much better and peaceful! Perfect view of the sea and Los Arcos. We did have an issue with two lizards getting into our room one day when the patio door was opened (during room cleaning). It took staff one hour to get to our room after several calls and finally talking to the manager. My wife was not very happy with that experience. They compensated us by getting our names on the guest list with the very popular Medano restaurant which we enjoyed Ribeye steak and Lobster our last dinner there. Buffet food was delicious (both breakfast and dinner). We did try the Mexican restaurant (tasteless food). I did have two Mezcal mixed drinks there that were tasty and helped me down the tasteless food. The sea was kind of rough that mid-week. So waves were crashing down hard. We had to walk about 20 to 30 minutes to Medano beach area to jump into the water. Water was cold but not freezing cold like SoCal water. I got used to it quickly. Waves came in quick and could push you into the water. So be careful. Also, quick waves can get your items wet if you are not ready. Pool was perfect! Nightly entertainment was awesome! The staff worked hard to get us food, drinks, and keep the resort super clean. "

"It seems most rooms will have an ocean view. Good solid food choices. There are 6 or so restaurants. 4 main ones are open for nights. An Italian restaurant, A Mexican restaurant, a sushi restaurant, Mediterranean restaurant, and an optional steak house (the steak house was extra if you wanted to go there.). There were 2 restaurants open by the pool area each day until 5. "

"The thundering waves of the ocean were amazing! But potential guests need to be aware that it is not safe to even wade in the ocean because of the strong waves & dangerous undertow. Absolutely everything else about the resort was amazing!"
