“We arrived at 19.00 to what we discovered were planned loud & disruptive road resurfacing works right outside starting that night for 3 weeks between 19.00-04.00 each weekday. We called the owners who had been aware and had placed a laminate of Council plans in the property info pack. “Penny Cottage provided a specious, yet very cosy stay, with excellent, easy access to the Camel Trail for great walks and a complete break in nature. We would definitely recommend!”

“The cottage was really lovely and had everything we needed for a quiet weekend away. Conni was really kind and helped us check in later than planned due to traffic and made delicious scones for us. The cottage was clean and well maintained and we really enjoyed staying.”

“Really enjoyed our stay at Harbour Lights. Amazing location overlooking the beach and harbour. Then there is the Coastal Path which goes from outside the property. Going east up the hill is a great walk, but going west……

“one of the best self catering i have stayed at on the outskirts of Bodmin for a Winter break this is an ideal please for touring Cornwall, for anyone wanting to set up base to sea fish or fishing in general i have one minor gripe No central heating in the property, but there are electric radiators and extra blow heaters There is a log burner that does kick out a lot of warmth, for the very cold nights, I will return later in the year”

“Fabulous cottage lovely base for seeing Cornwall.”

“If you want complete peace and quiet time to think and read, then this rural corner of Cornwall is for you. The cottage is very comfortable and the private grounds provide an easy short stroll by the river for us older ones. Appreciated the hosts kind hospitality of goodies on arrival, we’ve already booked again . Thank you.”

“The Annex was a peaceful location with views across the hills. It’s a convenient location for the Eden Project and the beaches around St Austell. The annex is a good base and has a home from home feel. John the host is very friendly and welcoming.”
