"This hotel is truly centered around nature, making it the perfect place to relax and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city. They offer areas for sledding, reindeer that you can feed if you purchase food at reception, a spa with two complimentary hours per day, as well as outdoor and reception firepit areas. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and cozy, although I wish there were more luggage storage options and a thermometer for better temperature control. Breakfast is included (7:00 AM to 10:00 AM) and is served buffet-style. While it’s not very large, it offers enough variety to start your day off well. There are two restaurants: one casual dining option with great salmon soup, and another more à la carte experience. The river view is stunning (especially frozen in March), and there’s even a spot for an icy dip if you’re feeling brave. You can sometimes see the Northern Lights from the hotel if the sky is clear, though excursions are still recommended due to some light pollution. The staff is very friendly, and their WhatsApp service is a big plus. You can also book excursions directly with the hotel, which is helpful since many tours don’t pick up there. They offer shuttle service to the airport, Santa Claus Village, and downtown Rovaniemi. The only downside was some communication challenges with spa staff for international guests, which could be improved. Aside from that, we loved everything. It’s a bit pricey but definitely worth it."

"Stunning place, beautiful chalets, friendly accommodating staff. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The accommodation itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was great that Rituals toiletries were provided. The bedding was also extremely comfortable. The park itself is fantastic, with plenty to do. We tried all the activities available during our visit and genuinely loved every single one. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. Free shuttle bus to and from Rovaniemi is such a useful addition. We used it one day to head out for dinner and simply got a taxi back, which worked perfectly. If I had one small suggestion for improvement—and it’s by no means a criticism—it would be to provide a small cloth and some washing-up liquid in the accommodation, just to make it easier to clean cups and cutlery. That said, this didn’t take away from our experience at all. Overall, this was an unforgettable stay. Everything, from the accommodation to the activities and especially the staff was just brilliant. I would absolutely recommend Lapland Winter Park and would love to return in the future."

"I want to start this review by saying that we are NOT hotel snobs. As long as a room is clean, we are happy. The good stuff – the little red cabin was very cute and very clean. It was sparse and rustic inside but had a dining set and two beds which is exactly what we needed for our one-night stay. The not-so-good stuff - I was honestly shocked to learn that we were expected to pay €10 PER PERSON for bed sheets and towels. Those are not optional luxuries — they are a fundamental part of any accommodation. They directly affect comfort, hygiene, and sleep quality. Charging extra for something so fundamental felt unreasonable and frankly inappropriate. Bed linens are a basic expectation in any accommodation. Even a budget hostel we stayed at in Helsinki included sheets and towels as standard. We declined to pay the additional fee out of pure principle. As a result, I slept fully clothed, on top of the comforter and under my coat. While I managed, this is not something any guest should have to experience. Overall, while the cabin itself was charming and clean, the additional charge for bed linens significantly impacted our experience. "
