Loughrea Hotel with Pool

"This property was the perfect location. Quay st with all the bars and shops was right outside the door to the left, it was a short walk to Eyre square. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more "

"We loved our stay here. The room was spacious and clean. Bathroom had two sinks which is always nice. The breakfast was wonderful. Within easy driving distance to Galway and Aran island ferry. Wiuld definitely recommend. "

"Wonderful view if the Lough. Good food and friendly service. The bathroom could do with brighter lighting and although breakfast was lovely (recommend the avocado, beetroot, posched eggs) it was not clear that you had to get your toast from the buffet which is strange seeing as it says on the menu scramble eggs on toast."

"We were very happy with our stay at the Galmont. The front desk personnel are wonderful—smart, helpful, and friendly. Our room was great—spacious & modern. The WiFi was strong. There were plenty of plugs for charging devices. There was an in room safe. The only thing our room lacked was drawers (Our friends’ room did have drawers.) The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is well located, near downtown without being on a loud street. We would definitely recommend the Galmont and would stay there on any future visits. "

"❤️Friendly check-in, the size of the rooms was incredible, lots of space to stretch out, comfortable beds and bedding, luxurious bathroom, view of highway which we loved, delicious breakfast. 💔The hotel was a maze, signs that don’t lead anywhere, trouble finding our room despite being given directions and we speak English, (Italian tourists we saw there are probably still looking for their rooms), difficulty finding public washrooms due to awkward signage, location-not close to anything walkable, you definitely need a car and Galway is not public parking friendly, they tell you that you don’t need reservations at the Bistro, but you do, because you’re out of luck finding another restaurant close by. Looked forward to using the pool but it closed to early for our family to enjoy after check-in."
