Perfect place with one improvement needed

The good: I loved this place & the atmosphere. No problems parking. Enjoyed the extras of the foosball table & mini-golf in the courtyard (truthfully one of the reason I chose this place over others). Location was perfect. Bed was comfortable. Great water pressure to shower. The windows abover the bathroom really added character, & I loved the brick walls & the whole color scheme. This legit was "almost" the perfect place.The not so good:Whomever was hired to clean is basically stealing the cleaning fee. Noticed the dirt on the floors as soon as I walked in. Went to set my purse down on the corner table, & saw it was covered in crumbs & a fresh coffee stain/ring. The kitchen counter also had crumbs/dust on it. All the kitchen drawers had crumbs in them, with one drawer having something oily spilled in it. I couldn't with good conscience leave them like that, so I cleaned them all. The bathroom light fixture was covered in dust. I immediately checked the sheets. They appeared & smelled clean & not slept in, with a visible crease from being folded.The bed pillows were the flattest I've ever seen. Went to get the two spares from the closet. But, the bag with the spare sheets for the sofa bed only had one pillow case...& it REEKED of mildew. They need a fresh washing. This place is perfect minus needing a new cleaning person (& two new pillows). It's apparent the cleaner just did the bare minimum (ie: only changed the sheets). We left it cleaner than when we arrived.

Great lodging and location

We loved the aesthetics, bright and open; and the location of the lodging was centrally located in downtown.Very quiet street, great parking right out front. Easy communication with host. There were a few housekeeping issues: only one fork in the home; no pot holders if using the oven; ironing board, but no iron; tv screen cracked so it displays lines across the tv when trying to watch. That being said, I would still stay there again.

Broken Bed

Upon arrival place was easy to locate and get in. Different floor levels (not in the details) Very clean, decor was amazing, great historical vibe. Completely disappointed with 2 people staying for 3 days- we had 6 towels and 1 washcloth. No local recommendations of restaurants or sites for different times of day. Worst problem was after laying down to sleep we noticed it was broken. Sleeping on the pull out couch was not in the plans but that’s what happened. Don’t appreciate paying for a 1 bedroom where I can’t sleep in the bed. AND no communication from the host. Won’t be using that property again after we woke up to a unit one over from us being broken into.

Coxy and Nice

This is a perfect location! Super close to shops, and restaurants! The courtyard was a great added bonus. House was very clean. The TV in the living room was broke, I didn't notice until about 2 days after we were there as my daughter, and I watched it in the bedroom. I did contact the host, but did not hear anything back. Wasn't a big deal to us though.
