The lobby and our room was clean. We thought the bed was very comfortable (had some softness). Full galley style kitchen was clean and functional. TV in the room allowed us to sign into our Netflix/Showtime/YouTube accounts. Pool/hot tub area was basic and could use a little scrub around the edges, but good enough for a little dip. Hot breakfast was decent enough for complimentary with a good selection of yogurt, breads, cereal, milks/juices, fresh fruit. And they had a waffle maker. The front desk staff were all very friendly and inviting. Cool location at the base of the walking bridge over the river and an easy an/off to Hwy 65 and 31. Big grassy area and small park right across the street (possibly a few homeless/transient seemed to be around, but didn’t feel unsafe). Ate at a pizza/beer place on the other side of the park that you can see from the hotel. Good pizzas and nice outdoor covered dining/bar. Was only there for one night for my daughter's archery tournament at Kentucky Expo Center. Overall a good stay and would stay again.

Awful customer service. Booked with them because of their pool. We even called first ti confirm. Arrived to find theirs closed. They could get us into a "sister" hotel for $80 more and maybe not get the room we already booked refunded. So essentially pay for two rooms.

This was a very nice place with plenty of amenities. The ONLY thing that I could even say negative would be that the water temperature in the shower could have been warmer. Overall, I was extremely pleased.

The Town place hotel is very convenient, looking the great walkable bridge in Jeffersonville . We had an issue with the hot water in the bathroom shower so the front desk offered a room change. The room had hot water but the TV wasn’t working. So we trade our suite with great views but no hot water for another one with no working TV

Check in was quick and easy. Staff was wonderful and friendly. Hotel and room were neat and clean. I felt safe. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming but I believe it was wiped out by a big group right before we came down so I am not sure if I had an accurate breakfast experience. Will stay again my next trip to the area!

Liquor store across street with homeless coming & going next to our stay. Fire alarm went off mid night - wiring prob in kitchen? In lobby for most of one hour. Sharp 90 degree corners of bed caused scratch on me and actual cut on husband. Pics taken & incident reported at front desk- answered “already aware & working on it”.

The property itself is nice, parking easy. Staff friendly and accomidating. Harvey who sets up the breakfast was the kindest man, met him when we were leaving. He is a treasure and lucky to have this employee.This was a one night stay on our way home from a trip. My complaint is the carpeting in our room 125 along with the sitting chair, and bedskirts were filthy and stained. Found a random sock under the bed. Bathroom, kitchen area & dining table were clean. Just my two cents but if my room reflects reat of hotel, you need to do a deep cleaning.

A nice hotel, nice room however, our bathroom toilet wasn’t clean. Power went out for 2 hours and the internet was down all weekend.

This was our first time staying and we weren’t disappointed! A last minute reservation that turned into a restful and comfortable weekend. Suite was spacious and amenities were plentiful. Location is perfect! We love utilizing Big 4 Station and the variety of shops and restaurants on the riverfront! Staff was super friendly and accommodating! This will turn into our go-to location when we come to visit!

Key Issues
The hotel itself is in good shape. Room was a little odd in layout. But the main problem I had was with the key. Could not get in my room shortly after check-in and had to get help, who kept asking me if someone was in my room. After they got me in the key worked the rest of their night, but failed again in the morning. Took almost an hour for the staff person to figure it out, and clearly it seemed more like I was inconveniencing her rather than the other way around being trapped out of my room and on a time crunch. The pool was warm, which was nice, and the hot tub was hot. But some inconsiderate guests made that a bad experience too. So while the hotel was clean it had many other issues.

Great location that is close to Louisville and the walking bridge. Clean hotel. Will definitely stay again. Only complaint was that the waffle mix for the breakfast was sour/spoiled. Everything else was great!
