「Idle for two people comfortable and cosy with beautiful views to wake up to. With well equipped kitchen and super shower.」

「A really comfortable and charming property. Very clean with a well equipped kitchen. The bed was also good (even for me with a bad back). The location is superb - in a quiet valley, an easy walk to Bolton castle and just a stroll to Aysgarth waterfalls. As a map will show, really close to Wensley and Leyburn with nice pubs. Juliet and David were very friendly hosts (as were the sheep).」

「Laburnum Cottage is in an ideal location for exploring Bedale and all that North Yorkshire has to offer. Clean, well equipped, comfortable beds, lovely garden, and really just everything you need to enjoy a pleasant break. Communication with Terry, the host, is excellent, so no issues there. Second visit to the cottage and would recommend. We will definitely return.」

「Very pretty and had all we needed for self catering. Maybe a baking sheet, smaller saucepan and a baking dish would have been useful - not a big deal!Lovely to be next to the beck, loads of birds to watch and interesting places to visit.Drive from The Tan Inn to Hawes not for the faint hearted, narrow and very steep.Noticed a funny mark in the oven which I couldn't clean so emailed the office and someone came the next day to clean it - excellent. 「We had a wonderful five night stay in Newbiggin. Phil could not have been more helpful and accessible.Westbrook House was beautifully clean and well equipped. We were blessed with incredible weather and sitting outside the cottage enjoying the peace and quiet with a glass of wine was just perfect.Excellently situated for walks and other local delights.Cannot recommend highly enough - thank you Phil」

Each pod is labelled and has a discrete fencing/ stone wall for privacy. The hut itself was clean and in great condition and a good temperature. Perfect size for a couple. There is a double sofa bed for 2 more, but that would be extremely cosy. Kitchen area is fine for self catering. Don't bring too much as the fridge is small, but it does have a tiny ice box for ice...

「right up our street , the landlady is brilliant and wish i got to now her better . and we will go back for another visit ,but have to stay a bit longer. brilliant for walking ,plenty of info inside comfy cottage, felt compleetly chilled when we left and looking forwards to another visit .」

「This is a gorgeous little property. We met Diane as we arrived, she was so lovely and accommodating (nice little touch was the biscuits and doggy treats. The bedrooms were warm and comfortable, the kitchen/living area was small but well equipped (no cooking on holiday!). We will certainly go back to The Bothy next time we are in the area.」
