"Amazing location right next to Sliema Ferry station with a breathtaking view of Valletta. The apartment was well-equipped, modern, clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. We got access to an outdoor pool at Manta Beach Club just across the street, which was also quite nice, even though we could not use it due to the weather. I would definitely recommend this place and would return any time."

"Centrally located and with excellent facilities (especially the roof top pool and high quality restaurant), and helpful staff. Easy (if sometimes steep) access to lots of historic sites and restaurants and an excellent bus service to other places. If you like the ‘bustling city’ vibe this is for you, however as we’re from the country and ‘getting on’, the busyness became tiring after a few days, not helped on one or two nights by some very loud music and football celebrations that lasted into the small hours! Having said that we met some very helpful and friendly locals."

"The rooms could use an update but the staff was kind and the beach access was so special! The staff by the pool and beach were extra friendly! Breakfast was HUGE… bed was comfy… highly recommend if you want a hotel with direct beach access and close to Valetta. Finally, the spa was so lovely and I got a facial that was so soothing! Debora was the therapist and she’s just a sweetheart!"

"The hotel is well located with beautiful rooftop & beachfront pools. We didn’t have time to visit the spa pool, but the treatment facilities were lovely. We had a Junior suite which was a good size, and the lounger in the corner was lovely as you could read on it or use it to pack/unpack. My frustration really came from housekeeping. Every day when they took our towels away, they forgot to replace them. Each time I complained, they were apologetic, but for a hotel of this caliber, after the first complaint they should have made sure it didn’t happen again. “Turn down” service was also at very inconvenient times - 5/6pm when people are getting ready to go out, meaning they just dropped the treats and asked if you needed anything rather than a true turndown."

"We stayed at The Barrister Hotel in Valletta for three nights and had a very pleasant experience overall. The hospitality was excellent, both the manager and staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay comfortable. The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and located right in the heart of Valletta. The location is fantastic, surrounded by beautiful restaurants, historic sights, and everything you would want to explore in Malta. Unfortunately, there was significant noise from nearby music venues that continued until around 3:00 a.m., making it difficult to sleep. This was not the hotel’s fault, and the staff did their best to help by changing our room, but unfortunately the noise remained an issue. If you are a light sleeper, prefer quiet evenings, or are travelling with young children, I would recommend staying in a quieter area outside central Valletta. Breakfast was good, although there were no hot breakfast options. It was still a pleasant start to the day. Overall, The Barrister Hotel offers excellent service, a spotless environment, and an unbeatable location. The only downside was the nighttime noise that comes with staying in the centre of Valletta."
