「An absolutely incredible place to stay, with gorgeous river views and even a lake. We stayed in a barrel which was so comfortable, I really did not want to get out of bed! The owner and others on the farm are kind, warming and helpful, and are clearly working hard to build an amazing space. I just wish I could have stayed longer!」

「Excellent well equiped house ideal for all age groups. So much space for 13 of us. Bedrooms worked well for each family group with their own bathroom. Location was great for Woolacombe sands, Ilfracombe, Lynton and Lynmouth as so many more lovely places.Outdoor space is fantastic if the weather is good.....great table and chairs to eat outside for BBQ or pizza facilities.Would definately recommend this house.」

「I booked online and then researched the Holiday Park after (slightly backwards way of doing it) but I’m glad I didn’t take all the reviews too seriously, I’ve stayed in far worse hotels than this. Obviously late December is definitely not peak season either but still enough people about. The kids loved the pool and there was an on duty life guard and cafe. Our apartment was nice too. If I could give 1 bit of feedback it’s that the changing room for the pool is an open 1 room which the boys...

「Loved our stay, peaceful and quiet. The food in the mill was 10/10. Only one shop locally but its quite expensive so od suggest buying before you go, also no take aways or Uber etc.」

「Really amazing place with lots of rooms for all of us to hang out in. We especially liked the bar lounge and the swimming pool area. Great hosts who were quick to respond to queries and really helpful. Would highly recommend if you have a large group! 」

「Lovely old building. Everything you need to be comfortable is there. Superbly comfortable beds, constant hot water and the Aga is a dream for cooks. Everything works and the flat is very well equipped for a longer stay. Lovely village with great pubs.」
