"A really lovely, comfy guesthouse in a very peaceful spot. The hosts were very friendly and did a wonderful breakfast! Plus there was a pub almost next door that did really good food! And a local nature reserve/boardwalk with views over the water very nearby too. My one minor criticism would be no curtains, only venetian blinds, in the bedroom so I woke up very early (an eyemask isn't enough for me) but at a different time of year or in a different room I don't think I'd have any issues at all...

"Having stayed at this hotel once before 3 years ago and being impressed with the overall standard and friendliness we didn't consider staying anywhere else. The hotel, again ticked all the boxes. Everyone is so friendly from the time you arrive until you leave. Ample parking. Breakfast was cooked to order and really tasty. Cannot fault it and would highly recommend"

"In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. "We were given room 4, apparently it has an Infamous reputation as the lad who looks after the hotel called a few hours before check-in to ask if we wanted to find alternative accommodation due to the amount of complaints they have about this room. Unfortunately Hotels.com were not especially helpful in changing our booking and we were about to set off so opted to just keep the room. It is at the top of the hotel, 4 flight of stairs up.
