Yarmouth weekend

We had a great stay at the Lyndhurst, clean, tidy & functional, it served our needs well. I would definitely recommend the Lyndhurst to anyone wishing to stay there.

Nice room

The Lyndhurst was perfect for our stay as we just needed a room while visiting family. The location is perfect if you want to be super central and walking distance from the beach and attractions. The room itself was small but big enough to fit everything you need in it. Its was decorated nicely and comfortable.

Lovely clean property. Room was maintained to a good standard. Bedding, carpets etc Lovely. Room had a modern feel. Property staff were very helpful. Excellent shower in the room. Keyless coded door entry. Right in the heart of the seafront area, across from Brittania Pier. Was good value for money plus we were given a free ugrade. Thank you to the Lyndhurst our stay was fabulous.

The room we stayed in was not the same as the pictures. It's a good basic hotel in a good location. Cleanliness ok. Manage your expectations accordingly with the price and you'll be fine.

Excellent standard

Read yesterday review as I stayed an extra night. All remains true with the addition of the double room with ensuite was excellent quality and worth the extra. It also had a smart TV and a well equipped shower room. The bed was so comfy that I slept right through also it was so quiet and peaceful I felt at home and would stay against and highly recommend

The single room room 1. Was a good size with sink and balcony door open to key breeze through. .the staff were great and very attentive. They gave me a fridge as i was there 1 week.. I appreciated that. I WOULD Definitely use lyndhurst again

Little gem in perfect location

Having spent 30 years making trips to Great Yarmouth, I must have stayed 100 times and this was up there in the top ten guest house venues. Room spotless and well appointed - strong newish power shower, tea and coffee and very comfortable bed. Not a place to stay if you want bar and lounge as reception room is spartan and used by the host. The pub on the prom is next door to take care of that side but any noise did not carry to the rooms. Not 100 yds to pier, beach and roads.

Have stayed before and gave 5-star rating as the ensuite twin room was good with powerful shower. Booked a single this time with no ensuite. Unfortunately the small room's radiator was stuck on high and the room was like a sauna despite opening the big french windows onto a balcony. The communal bathroom was small and the shower was not the best.

Highly recommend. Excellent hotel.

Fast check-in. Instructions for self check in texted before check in very easy to understand. modern door lock system easy to use. The lobby stairwells and commun areas spotless Room was spotless and well equipped. Tea coffee kettle cup glass and TV. Clean comfy bed and fluffy towels. What more could you padssible need. Oh yes there is super fast WiFi. I checked out happy that I picked a decent hotel. Happy enough that I extended my trip by a day and booked another night.

Outside looks great and clean appearance , received text message with codes for front door and room door Arrived at site and got in ok, went to room and was ok , compact I would say especially the bathroom , got to be worlds smallest sink ,struggled to wash my hands ,sink wasnt draining away very well , on investigation once unscrewed plug head it was caked in hair and dirt ,hence not draining very well once cleaned out by me and hair thrown down the toilet pan , it drained very well. Floor was creaky in certain areas , basic furniture ,looked tired and worn if honest , shower was either stone cold or red hot could not get a decent in-between with was frustrating me. On arrival back bed not made up , empty milk carton removed and towel still in shower area on floor that I put down thinking room would be made up and refreshed , it wasn't ,but disappointing to come back to how I left it after being out all day , not the best view out of window, hence left curtains shut on my visit , but noisy at night time , must have been a pub nearby on Friday night , quite a bit of noise I heard. Reading the reviews prior to booking sounded great , was a bit disappointed unless I set my sights too high.
