A beautifully decorated, very comfortable, private lodge with a fantastic view.

A beautifully decorated, very comfortable, private lodge with a fantastic view. We stayed the second week in December and arrived to find a Christmas tree on the decking and other tasteful festive decorations. Very thoughtful touch! Everything thing had been thought through very well. The kitchen was well equipped, comfortable beds and everywhere spotlessly clean. Thank you to the very helpful, friendly owners, we had a very restful, much needed stay. We shall definitely be re booking.

The lodge was beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped.

The lodge was beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped. There were just a few constructive points to raise. For a 5 star accommodation we have always found a few basic essentials ie tea coffee milk and sugar as following a possibly long journey these are welcome. Also expected would be full toilet rolls no empty washing up liquid and bubble bath bottles. A small supply of bin liners is an essential. These are just minor issues but hopefully will be taken as constructive criticism as apart from these we had a wonderful break and have already booked again for next year.

Wonderful view and as close as you can get to the sea, very private. Well equipped with beautiful interior that is well designed and luxurious. The exterior decking and furniture is fantastic. All in all a fantastic getaway!

Had fantastic week at the Beach Retreat, fabulous accommodation very clean and a lovely welcome gift to. Beautiful view and lovely to watch the boats, dredgers and vessels we have even had the pleasure of a group of paragliders going past at regular intervals. Will definitely be returning next year if circumstances allow.
