⸻ We booked this hotel specifically for the George Strait concert and paid nearly $1,000 for the room, fully expecting a basic level of service. Check-in is listed as 3:00 PM. We arrived at 4:30 PM and were told our room still wasn’t ready. We didn’t get access until almost 5:45 PM—nearly three hours past check-in. Because of this, we missed half of the concert we traveled for. Let’s be clear: this wasn’t a surprise event. You knew the town would be busy, you charged premium rates because of it, and yet failed to have rooms ready on time or communicate delays. That’s poor planning and even worse execution. A $25 credit from Expedia is frankly insulting given what we paid and what we missed. If you’re going to charge these kinds of rates, you need to deliver. This experience fell well below expectations, and I expect a more reasonable resolution than what’s been offered so far

The morning staff did not know what was going and and rude while the evening staff specifically a woman name Elizabeth was very helpful and kind but soon to find out they had fired her the next day they basically over charged me for a room I already purchased

The stay was nice, staff members friendly & polite. Fitness room needs some attending to. 3 of the 6 pieces of cardio equipment out of order. No AED machine in place. The signage is on the wall but no machine. I would move the dispenser for sanitation wipes by the door with a sign to wipe down equipment after use. We used the area twice couldn't use cardio equipment because it was in use then watched as those using it for 30 mins left without wiping it off.

Parking was great and the staff were awesome. The problem with Aloft hotels are that they look amazing with the vibrant colors when they're brand new, but they start to look dingy quickly because of those same patterns and the stains from use. Almost every aloft I say at I feel like they need to have a good upholstery clean on all of the furniture in the lobby. The lobbies are clean of items and trash, but the upholstery looks worn out and dirty.

The room was very poorly maintained. The air freshener masking some smell was extremely strong. The walls were chipped scratched and the bathroom doors wouldn’t close all the way. AC was incredibly loud we had to sleep with it off. The room was dirty with trash crumbs and dust all over the floor. Some towels were dirty. Very disappointed in this hotel. Front desk was friendly at late check in but didn’t know if our room was going to be a double bed room so left to go check.

The hotel is kind of ok. It is not worth $175 a night. Maybe $80. The hotel did not smell clean, just musty. I asked for a quiet room, there were loud kiddos above me and beside me. On morning one, we went down for coffee because there was only enough for two cups in our room. The coffee was, at best, lukewarm, and almost empty. There were several staff members standing around and no one offered to make more and watched as we heated it in the microwave. I stated 4 people to our room, so why 3 towels? And why does this hotel not offer complimentary breakfast? For the price, it should. The shower head was terrible. Only part of it was spraying. I had to fix the toilet in the first few minutes because it was running continuously and no one answered when we called. To put it simply, if I had paid about half of what I paid, I could be ok with all of that. I expect more when I pay more. The lady that checked in was sweet. The young man that checked us out was lacking in enthusiasm and happiness. I walked up to the counter and said “How am I supposed to checkout?” I saw him sitting at the counter over by the “breakfast” are, but he didn’t look or act like an employee. He certainly didn’t greet us or act like he wanted to get up or anything else. I will be staying elsewhere with better service for that price next time.
