This property has a lot of things going for it ...
-inside decor is super cute and definitely does not match the outside aesthetic of this property
- king-sized bed is really comfy and agree with other reviewers that the bedding is terrific too
- appreciated much of the attention to details like bath products in the shower, laundry detergent, dish washing liquid, aluminum wrap in the kitchen, basic cooking supplies, dishes & cutlery on hand.
The outside of this place is a bit daunting & check your arrival instructions carefully. The entrance to this unit is most definitely on the far back side of the property - best to enter from the alley actually. DO NOT try to enter through the back door/gate in the carport ... that actually belongs to the front rental. If you try to enter there, you'll be disturbing other renters.
The location of this property is convenient to campus and Red Raider activities but may seem sketchy to some. Lots of homeless foot traffic around and perhaps a soup kitchen or shelter across the street, Lots of locks on the property to help keep you safe but the outside vibe still has some room to improve.
The property really only sleeps 2. Sleeper sofa is there but don't count on it as a comfortable sleeping option. This would be a terrific upgrade for the property as it otherwise has room to accommodate 2-4 people.
And finally, a word of caution to anyone who is not petite in size. The bed is a really tight fit in the bedroom. Worked for us but we're small people. Anyone of any size at all would not be able to get into the bed without climbing over the footboard to do so. The bathroom is a tight squeeze also.
I think this property has great potential. Level the floors before laying in that floor tile! Invest in a new sleeper sofa! Add some coat hooks, another towel bar or hooks, and another mirror somewhere to accommodate more people getting ready at the same time. And make sure renters know to enter from the back alley side of the address and it is sure to please.
