No one was there to check me in, but staff arrived to give me a key and they were nice. Unfortunately, room was disgusting. Found no bugs on the bed when I arrived, so decided to suck it up and spend the night. Woke up with a dozen bed bug bites on my neck and back.

I had a great stay at this hotel it’s quiet and cozy in a peaceful neighborhood. It’s just a 3 minute walk away from the main downtown area of Plainview which has shopping and restaurants. The property and parking lot is very easy to find, enter, and park in. The hotel staff are family members and they are very helpful and attentive if you need anything. The service was excellent and the staff were always there when I needed them. I actually ended up getting stranded due to car problems during my stay and without the hotel staff’s generous and extensive help I would have been in big trouble. All in all I felt very safe in this hotel unlike some others I’ve stayed at. Air conditioner works great and the rooms themselves are a decent size with a good refrigerator and microwave. I liked the spacious bathrooms that have a separate switch for the blower and the light. The rooms are a bit old fashioned but clean. The only issue I encountered was a lamp that didn’t work in my room but that wasn’t a big deal at all because there was a very nice and bright overhead light on the ceiling that worked great. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone that is staying in North Texas!

No one was there to check us in. The room was filthy, the toilet ran constantly, the water was brown, we found ants and gnats in the room. We tried to over look the conditions because we were very tired from a day on the road but we had to leave when we found bed bugs. To make things worse the manager did not answer my any of calls. We had to rent another room for the night. The Budget Inn down the road is a much better choice.

Heater did not work, kept blowing cool air and it was a cold night that I had to stay at a friends house for the next 2 nights. Maybe good for a last minute stay or in the summer time.

The worst hotel ever!!!

This is the dirtiest and filthiest hotel I have ever been in. There was trash allover the room, the sheets were yellow. The maid said this is how all look like this. There were still food remain in the microwave. The bathroom door had no door handle. If I was not super tired I was going to go look for another hotel. I slept for 4 hrs and drove away in the middle of the night as I was afraid I was going to get attacked by bed bugs and other critters in that room. I'm writing this so no one gets tricked into going to that hotel, if I had seen a similar review, I was definitely not going there.
