Lovely Cottage

My partner & I booked this lovely cottage for a quiet weekend away. It did not disappoint. The cottage is lovely & cosy with everything you need plus special touches. We will definitely be visiting again.

The Cottage is equipped to a high standard and Chris made us very welcome.

The Cottage is equipped to a high standard and Chris made us very welcome. We had a really comfortable stay, with evenings made even cosier by the wood-burning stove. There is a delightful garden which, weather permitting, adds to the calming effect. The rural location offers nearby walks to appreciate the wonderful countryside. Ludlow is only a relatively short drive away and offers a good choice of eateries etc. For an array of local produce, the Ludlow Farm Shop in Bromfield and The Mousetrap Cheese Shop in Ludlow are well worth a visit.

Gorgeous garden!

We loved the cottage! First impressions are that it is immaculately clean EVERYWHERE, The views from every window are of the fabulous, colourful garden out to the beautiful countryside and hills in the distance. Very private and super to have your own summerhouse on the lawn. The cottage is well furnished and has everything you could need. Lovely comfy bed too with high quality sheets, pillows and the towels are super. Chris and Richard are the perfect hosts and really understand what it takes to provide their guests with a super holiday. Hope to return to the cottage next time we are in England. The Cottage is in a lovely setting, the owners were lovely, friendly and helpful.

The Cottage is in a lovely setting, the owners were lovely, friendly and helpful. The owners decorated it for Xmas and it was welcoming. The log burner takes some getting used to in terms of keeping it going, but you do have radiators in all rooms that can be adjusted. The shower is open plan at one end, so you had to be careful not to get the water all over the bathroom floor. Extra bath mat may be required. The twin bedroom is upstairs and is accessed by a spiral open staircase, my friend who is 60 plus managed okat but may not be easy if you have walking issues. The double bedroom is spacious and confortable. Kitchen was well equiped and easy to use. A lovely peacful setting, the owner has a dog but it was lovely. We came at xmas time and managed to get restaurant bookings a month before hand for Xmas day and Boxing day.
