Extremely peaceful hotel especially as so close to the town (which was a pleasant stroll past the river and castle). Clean rooms, and friendly staff. Really good breakfast, dinner could have been better as the lasagne was bland. Overall, a really enjoyable stay and would return.

Friendly hotel within easy (and scenic!) walking distance of Ludlow, with it's history, food and culture. Staff were great and helpful with tips for Ludlow and sights to see in Shropshire. Great breakfast in a sunny garden room. Easy parking and comfortable room. Views of the castle and the river within minutes walking from the hotel.

Very friendly staff and well maintained hotel, the room was clean but a bit noisy. Room 4 was a bit noisy as the kitchen was below and we had to have the windows open, we were only staying the one night so didn’t complain. We had eat in the restaurant on Monday evening and had a very pleasant time good food and a drink outside on the patio.
