Pine Cone Cabin at Fort Valley

Beautiful country cabin with 2 bedrooms and bath. Fully furnished and comfortable with everything a Traveler could want or need. Bedroom with King Bed and Bedroom with Queen Bed including sheets, blankets, comforters, rugs. Country Kitchen with all the dishes, pots pans, utensils you could need to prepare your meals, washer and dryer, microwave. Living Room with woodstove/fireplace, comfortable seating for 6. Sun Porch with seating as well as rear deck and covered seating area on drive way side of cabin. This is a Home away from Home and is meant to be relaxing, comfortable, romantic and a fun place to be. Curl up with a warm fire and read a book or relax on the sofa watching a 45 inch flat screen HD TV with DirecTV Satellite. Other heat includes a propane wall unit. Window air conditioning in the Spring and Summer. The property sits on 1.5 acres surrounded by the George Washington National Forest on all sides with the Beautiful Passage Creek meandering through the valley. The Fort Valley is a valley within the Shenandoah Valley, which is very unique. Fort Valley remains unspoiled by any commercialism and remains agricultural and residential. The drive in either direction is spectacular and the vistas from the mountain tops are amazing and picturesque. Hiking, Horseback riding, antiquing, canoeing, kayaking, caving, ballooning, shopping, winery's are all in the area ready to explore and have the best times. The Skyline Drive leading to the Blue Ridge Parkway are just 20 minutes away as are the Luray Caverns and many other caverns and water falls. Relax and cool off at the blue pool in Passage Creek at Elizabeth Furnace on a hot Summer Day! Come explore Our Beautiful Fort Valley!

Lovely cabin

We so enjoyed our stay in this great cabin that was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need for your stay and so cozy and clean. It was a great place to return to in the evenings after a day of exploring the area. Great communication with the owner as well.

We had such a relaxing time. The cabin was so cozy, beds were comfy, and it had everything that we needed and more. We will be making this an anniversary tradition! We are ready to go back!

Cute cabin!

This cabin was beautiful! It was well stocked with everything to make you feel at home. The host provided well water that we filled our bottles and hiking packs with when going out hiking. They had great communication with us and made sure we made it safely. Would absolutely stay here again!

Serene and Cozy!

Third time staying at Pine Cone Cabin, which should say it all. Quiet, clean, comfortable, and a perfect place to retreat after long days of hiking and exploring the outdoors. It just doesn't get much better - thank you, Patrick and Dale, for sharing this rustic little slice of paradise with us!

OMG this is so cute

This is what i heard from my wife about this cabin all weekend long. We were celebrating our 25th and to see my wife smile so much was priceless. Highly recommend this cabin. The host were great and have put alot of thought into this cabin.

Great weekend

my son and I stayed at pine cone cabin for a father son weekend. Loved are weekend up here so enjoyable and relaxing could not have asked for a better weekend. felt very at home. wood stove kept the cabin very warm and toasty. Hope we can come back sometime. Glenn.

Perfect getaway. Super quiet and super clean!

My husband and I wanted a quiet place to unwind, and we got it! We have visited the area before, but this is the first time we stayed at Patrick & Dale’s cabin. The winding road to the cabin has some beautiful views, so we slowed down from the start. The cabin was clean and was very comfortable. We felt like we were home. I cannot recommend this cabin enough!! Thank you for a amazing vacation!!

Rustic cozy cabin in the wilderness

This cabin had it all. So comfy, quiet and cozy. You can’t help but relax. It feels like you are a million miles away although you are just a short dtive to Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns. Would stay here again. Maybe fall or winter next time so we could use the wood stove. Hats off to the owners for making this cabin such a wonderful getaway spot!
