I had not received any online communication wrt combination for key box and subsequently had to try to talk to TravelNest who were apparently the booking agent even though I booked through Hotels.Com. I had tried to touch base with the host previously but never got any reply. Travelnest finally got an answer and a cheery host called me without any apology the inconvenience. I couldn’t stay in...

"Absolutely loved our weekend at the Dower House! Amazing location surrounded by nature, the building is so beautiful and our room was huge and had every comfort. All the things you don't find in chain hotels are here - four poster bed, comfy sofa, coffee table and chairs sat amongst a wonderful backdrop, dark and quiet at night for a great sleep. And not to forget the amazing and genuine owners, Tim and Rosemarie, and Teresa who served a great breakfast "

"Great location minutes walk to the sea front, restaurants and attractions. Easy access to fabulous walking and running tracks. I was lucky enough to meet swimming enthusiasts and swam in the bay, with the added benefit of use of the beach shack. Perfect for an active family. Jan was super helpful and very responsive. Off peak season and fantastic weather made for a perfect stay. Thank you. "
