Peaceful and quiet setting I stayed Mon-Fri so can't speak for the busier periods but massive grounds well maintained with extremely attentive, caring and friendly staff members including the Tudor bar staff which were very welcoming upon every visit well done. My room was clean and tidy if in need of an update such a shame because the room had such an outstanding view it could be so much more. Still I had a fantastic 5day stay thank you.
Really pleased with our stay in the studio apartment. The apartment was roomy, was clean, had everything we needed, and exceeded our expectations at the price point. The hotel is walkable into Lymington, and has easy access to the rest of the New Forest. Great stay.

Beautiful but very tired room
The grounds are beautiful and the reception staff were lovely.
Slightly disappointed with the accommodation as it was very tired and dirty. It was also in an outbuilding and not the main hotel. Again, in dire need of modernisation.
We stayed in west court cottage and it had all amenities. Oven, microwave, dishwasher and pots/pans. It could benefit from more cleaning and refurbishment. Not sure if the style was meant to be retro but I would like a new carpet, curtains and bed cover. The inside pool was not bad. BEDBUGS were an issue. They had a feast on me and my family.
Gorgeous hotel on vast grounds with lovely pools and gym. Easy walk to ferry for Isle of Wight.

Difficult to know what to say good and bad
Difficult to know what to say. Apartment spacious, excellent amenities, very clean but unfortunately in dire need of a refurbishment. Dingy walls, yellow chipped paintwork, double glazed units blown, kitchen plinth kept falling down on my feet. If you can see by the tired look of the place you can’t beat it. Staff always friendly and helpful, great position next to ferry but too far out of town for us. Having said all this I would stay there again

Beautiful historic main building, superb grounds, great leisure centre with lovely indoor heated pool. Our bedroom was rather old and tired, but that was reflected in the price. All-in-all a very good stay.

Enjoyable stay. Really liked this hotel and would go back again. We particularly enjoyed the self catering lodge - very convenient if you have small children. The grounds and pool were a hit! Staff friendly and helpful.
However, property is a bit dated, needs a refresh. Breakfast is expensive for what it is and we were a bit disappointed.
Really pleasantly surprised with Elmers Court. The Hotel is in a great location with fantastic facilities. John (in the bar) and Sophie (reception) deserve a special mention as they were so welcoming and enthusiastic. The Spa, gum and pool were great and this enhanced our stay. The close proximity to the IOW ferry is super practical too.
A lovely trip to new forest. The hotel was very relaxed, good location & peaceful. The self catering suits were great size, but beds were uncomfortable & the pillows. Very clean & ideal for a long weekend trip. The SPA was very clean & relaxed. The restaurant was lovely & going above & beyond with dietry requirements. Lovely bar area & over all plesant stay.
2 night stay. One bed apartment with kitchen. Large lounge, bedroom. Old style furnishings. Shower over bath. Quiet location at this time (November). Convenientt for IoW ferry. Lymington old town picturesque. New forest all around this property. Great value for money (November).

Bizzare Breakfast situation and not at all worth it for the price. The hotel, room, staff in the reception and the gym spa area great. They should start serving breakfast in the main hotel building’s restaurant which serves dinner.

Friendly staff and beautiful grounds, our two bed, two bathroom self catering accommodation was very in need of modernisation- dated furnishings, mouldy seals in baths and very creaky floors.

Lovely site, loads of potential kids loved it but very tired and service is questionable however staff went above to try and rectify
Lovely property in a great locations we really enjoyed our stay. However the room we had in the old Manor House was a bit small and restricted by too much furniture. The shower an old in line electric water heater was difficult to use and as usual with these water pressure was limited. It would also have helped to have a small fridge.

Very late check in - post 5pm, which meant we could not get in our apartment or use any faciities, so hung around reception with the kids.
The apartment is a great size, but issues with blocked (dust) extracts and left over wrappers from previous guests.
The accomodation though is so tired and dated - like something out of the 90's and not 4 star quality or worth over £200 a night. Needs full modernisation, floors, lighting, furniture, bathrooms and kitchen

We chose this place for a short winter break and the indoor pool was the main attraction. The apartment was comfortable, well equipped and generally clean. Overall condition of the apartment and pool facilities could be better. The strangely limited assortment of apps on the smart tv was a mystery! The walk into town is about a mile and the road is not the best after dark so I was glad to have a torch. We like Lymington and the surrounding area and travel here often.
Staff extremely attentive and helpful, great food and facilities on site. Room was very cosy with a comfy bed and Google Cast which allowed us to stream whatever we liked from our phones to the TV, which was a fantastic feature we had not seen at other hotels. The spa is well worth a visit and the pool, sauna and steam room were very enjoyable too.
The only things that stopped it making this a 5-star trip was that the shower was sometimes not quite as hot as we'd like (we were in Manor House 29a) and it would have been nice to have a bigger bar area with a wider draft beer selection.
However, these minor things definitely did not spoil our trip as they were just down to our personal preferences, and we would definitely go again regardless of these! Highly recommended for couples and families alike.

The hotel grounds and swimming / gym facilities were good. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment which was very dated in decor, not that clean especially the bedroom / bed and cushions / curtains in living area. Sloping ceilings not great to sit up in bed which was under a window.
In need of improvement. We sat in the Tudor bar for dinner one night - again a bit dated. Car parking spaces v narrow. Food was nice. Staff friendly. Nice location.
Location was great and loved that we had our own apartment which was good value.
However, during our stay, there were a couple of prom events that we weren’t informed about. When queried, the response was an email was sent, which I never received as I booked through a third party. I would have expected a better notification for the guests staying there, such as possibly a notice at the front desk. The hotel manager, was in the lobby one evening, where his guests were staying and instead of asking the guest how their stay was, or the reason for the visit, he was only interested in the people associated with the prom. The reason for this trip was a friends birthday, which was mentioned. Booked the afternoon tea, no extra goodwill gesture was offered, such a piece of birthday cake or an extra glass of champagne. The service during the afternoon tea, was disappointing. Initial order was placed and the service took quite some time and trying to get anyone’s attention was a challenge. Appreciate there was people in the bar and staff were attending to those guests too, but maybe more staff are required. Overall was a good stay and would return, just disappointed with the lack of attention to detail.
