This is one of the cleanest properties I have ever stayed at and some of the most friendliest staff. As soon as you walk in you smell the fresh clean hallways and rooms. Will definitely stay there again if in the area.

The room was clean and nice. This is the first time to have stayed in a hotel room where there is a sliding door for the bathroom which does not lock. The breakfast was fantastic. I recommend Appomattox Inn & Suites.

The lobby had inviting seating areas and a fireplace, interesting information about the area, a cute little bar area with snacks, and a few little gift items for sale. The outdoor pool is nicer than you find at most hotels. I would definitely stay here again.

For reference, I’m a Hilton Gold Member and my opinion of this independent hotel (closest to the Appomattox Surrender Grounds National Park) is that it’s very much on par with a Hampton Inn as far as rooms, decor, amenities and pricing. (But not the cookies) This is my fourth stay here at this hotel and I promise you will not be disappointed.
